Moon's Embrace

EXCERPT: A letter to Moon Moriarty… "Just like the kingdom where I was given another life, you came and gave me another ray of hope. If you are reading this letter, then I must be long gone from this world, but I want you to know I am still with you. I left a flower in your hands. Please water it and help it grow and spring out in a beautiful way. I hope you will be reminded of me whenever you see her. I want you to train her not in the way we know of, but in the way we would have wanted to live. Help her live a royal life but do not involve her in royalty, for there lies the evil things we may never know of. I know you went to create a world we could live in peacefully and in love, and now, our daughter will be the one to enjoy most of it. Also, I would love if you can take a trip to where we first met. There, I will be waiting for you. In my next life, I will choose you all over again and by then, I hope we meet in different circumstances. I love you. Till we meet again." __Genevieve This is a heart-wrenching tale of sacrifice, resilience and bittersweet romance. This is my WSA 2024 Entry. Support this book with your votes, reviews and comments.

Persistent Moon Moriarty

By morning, the physician was already in the house and Maidservant Ann's room was cleared except for Eve who remained with her. He tested her and when he was done, he let out a sigh and looked at Eve.

He was hesitant at first, but then he asked, "Are you aware of her illness?"

Eve slowly nodded and she saw him adjust himself where he sat.

He moved his eyes to look at Maidservant Ann where she laid with her eyes closed and he spoke again, "Her illness is hereditary and she has exposed herself to shock which is slowly paralyzing her. If she keeps going like this, I'm afraid she won't last long. If you really want to help her, don't let her think about those things that causes her to be like this."
