Kane noticed that he was gaining a substantial amount of experience through the continuous string of encounters. In a mere ten minutes, he managed to accumulate more experience than he had gained in three hours on the first floor. This sudden surge in progress caught his attention.
However, amidst this newfound success, a sense of caution crept into Kane's thoughts. He wondered whether this accelerated rate of experience gain was a deliberate ploy to lower his guard. Normally, the system would strive to maintain a high level of challenge for him, making him question the unexpected ease with which he was now advancing.
"I will be sure to keep you entertained, fucking asshole," Kane thought.
Kane maintained a moderate pace as he ran, mindful of conserving his stamina. Despite his cautious approach, it didn't take long for him to encounter a series of five holes from which the mutant rats seemed to emerge repeatedly.
