Chapter 63 Sincerity Garden

Aidan was sitting in the pagoda with Sofiel looking over the beautiful lake.

"Hey, have you heard? The fifth prince has died," someone said. She was a human talking with another fellow human. "Some people say he was poisoned."

"That's impossible. How can a prince be poisoned."

"I heard it was his brother that poisoned him."

Aidan looked at Sofiel and asked: "Sofiel, do you know something about the death of the fifth prince?"

Sofiel shook her head. "I don't hear anything about it. Maybe it happened recently."

"I see." Aidan didn't feel sad about the prince's death. He didn't even know the man. But if the fact that he was killed by his own brother was true, then it might be dangerous to stay in this empire.

Aidan had read enough stories about monarchies. He knew there was a high possibility of these princes fighting against each other which could result in a civil war.

That would be terribly dangerous.
