Del's mind was spinning around as he tried to look for an answer that didn't expose too much of his secret while making sure that it would end up impressing him. Truth be told, impressing the demonic elf in front of him was rather difficult. Mostly because Del never had any conversation with an executive, and this executive also owned a military force.
"I also have an interest in your company and we can be mutually beneficial to each other," Del said in his own opinion.
The woman giggled, "I appreciate your honesty, Del, but five Husnael plates are peanuts for me. You have to try harder than that. So, why should I let you in?"
Was this woman playing with him, or was this just an ordinary behavior of anyone with a corporate background? If it was a little bit of reassurance on her part, Del understood that, but it was just something he had never had before. One thing for sure, though, it was something Del didn't have any interest in.
