### Chapter 3: The Daoist Preacher
Li Wei awoke to the familiar chime of the Dao System, now a constant companion in his life of unexpected enlightenment. He groaned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, and reached for his phone.
"Good morning, Li Wei! Ready for today's lesson?" the Dao System's chipper voice greeted him.
"If it involves more Tai Chi, I'm going back to bed," Li Wei grumbled, pulling the blanket over his head.
"Today's lesson is something special," the system replied, its tone tinged with excitement. "If you successfully conduct your first preaching of the Dao, you'll unlock the ability to perform miracles—signs and wonders where any power you imagine can be created."
Li Wei sat up, wide-eyed. "Wait, did you say miracles? Like turning water into wine or making my boss disappear?"
"Well, not quite. But you'll have powers that align with the principles of the Dao. Are you ready to spread the wisdom?" the system asked.
Li Wei pondered the possibilities. The idea of wielding supernatural powers was tempting, especially if it meant impressing his friends and maybe even pranking his boss a little. "Alright, I'm in. What do I need to do?"
"Simple. Gather some people and preach the Dao," the system instructed. "Remember, sincerity and wisdom are key."
Later that day, Li Wei found himself pacing around his tiny apartment, trying to figure out how to gather an audience. He called his best friend, Chen, who was usually up for anything, especially if it sounded ridiculous.
"Hey, Chen. Do you have a minute?" Li Wei asked, trying to sound casual.
"What's up? You sound weird. Are you about to sell me insurance or something?" Chen replied.
"No, no. It's just... I'm supposed to preach the Dao today. Can you come over and bring some friends?" Li Wei asked, feeling increasingly ridiculous.
"Preach the Dao? Have you joined a cult?" Chen asked, laughing.
"Just come over. I'll explain everything. And bring snacks," Li Wei pleaded.
A few hours later, Chen arrived with a skeptical look and a bag of chips. He had managed to convince a couple of other friends to join, probably by promising them free food and some entertainment.
"So, what's this all about?" Chen asked, munching on a chip as he and the others settled on Li Wei's couch.
Li Wei cleared his throat, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. "Alright, everyone. Thanks for coming. Today, I want to share some wisdom from the Dao."
Chen raised an eyebrow. "Are you seriously going to preach?"
"Just hear me out," Li Wei said, pulling up the notes on his phone. "The Dao is all about balance, harmony, and going with the flow. It teaches us to embrace simplicity and humility."
One of Chen's friends, a guy named Mark, interrupted. "So, like, is this going to help me get rich or find love?"
Li Wei sighed. "It's not exactly about that. It's more about finding inner peace and understanding the natural order of things."
Mark shrugged. "Okay, cool. But do you have any tips for getting a raise?"
Before Li Wei could answer, the Dao System chimed in his ear. "Stay calm, Li Wei. Use humor to connect with them."
Li Wei took a deep breath. "Well, the Dao does say that he who knows enough is enough will always have enough. So maybe just tell your boss you're already rich in spirit?"
Chen snorted, trying to hide his laughter. "You're something else, Li Wei."
Despite the initial skepticism, Li Wei managed to get through his makeshift sermon. He talked about Wu Wei, the art of non-action, and the importance of being like water—flexible and adaptable.
"Alright, that's all I've got. Thanks for listening," Li Wei said, relieved to have finished.
Chen clapped slowly. "Not bad, preacher. Now, where's the miracle?"
Li Wei's phone buzzed. "Congratulations, Li Wei! You've unlocked the power of the Dao. Now, imagine a power, and it will be yours," the system announced.
Li Wei blinked, his mind racing. "Okay, let's try something simple. How about... making this room cleaner?"
With a wave of his hand, he imagined the clutter in his apartment disappearing. To his amazement, the room shimmered, and suddenly, it was spotless. The dirty dishes were gone, the laundry folded, and even the cat's litter box was clean.
Chen's jaw dropped. "Dude, did you just—?"
"Yep, I think I did," Li Wei said, equally stunned.
Mark leaned forward, eyes wide. "Can you make pizza appear?"
Li Wei chuckled, feeling a surge of confidence. "Why not?" He waved his hand again, picturing a large pepperoni pizza. Moments later, a piping hot pizza materialized on the coffee table.
Chen grabbed a slice, shaking his head in disbelief. "Okay, now this is the kind of preaching I can get behind."
As his friends dug into the pizza, Li Wei couldn't help but grin. Maybe this whole Daoist journey was going to be more fun than he'd ever imagined. And with his new powers, who knew what other wonders awaited?
"Alright, guys, next time, bring more friends. The Dao is for everyone!" Li Wei declared, feeling more like a modern-day sage—and a superhero—than ever before.
As the night went on, Li Wei couldn't stop thinking about the possibilities. With the power of the Dao at his fingertips, his life had just gotten a whole lot more interesting—and infinitely more entertaining.
"PING,cost has been deducted"
"For the usage of two powers,200 points have been removed".
"Host is in debt,I would like to ask host that you should work had not use your powers to often.Because you're broke".
