The Heart of the Queen of Lotus Pier

" Qingheng Jun, we would like to announce the presence of Sect Leader Jiang." A disciple said.

" Qingheng Jun nice to see you again. What made you visit my humble sect." Jiang Fengmian stated.

" I guess I need to talk with you privately." Father said.

" I guess so... is it really that confidential?" He asked.

" Not so... but not appropriate for the kids." Father responded.

" Okay let's get inside. The your kids can play with my kids. They are at the back of the training grounds. In the cottage surrounded by lotus lake." Jiang Fengmian point the direction out.

" Xichen you know where to bring Wangji and a-Ying." Father looked at brother and brother just nodded. Brother brought us to where Wei Ying's adopted siblings are. We saw Jiang Yanli running and trying to catch the running kid, Jiang Wanyin. The two of them, upon seeing 3 unfamiliar faces coming towards them, stop and looked at us. Wei Ying smiled at them and Jiang Yanli returned the smile and went to us.

" Good day young masters, what brings you here?" He said while bowing at us.

" Ah no need to be so formal with us young lady Jiang. By the way, I'm Lan Xichen first Young Master Lan. This is my brother, Lan Wangji second Young Master Lan." Brother introduced himself with a bow. When he introduced me I also paid respect.

" And by the way this is Young Master Wei, Wei Wu Xian. He is the son of the famous rouge cultivator, Cangse Saren and your father's right hand man and previous head disciple of YunmengJiang, Wei Changze." Brother introduced Wei Ying.

" Hello." Wei Ying said with a big smile and he waved his hands.

" Hi Young Master Wei. Since our parents are close you can call me shijie and this by the way is my little brother Jiang Cheng his about your age." She said while she was holding Jiang Wanyin's shoulder.

"Xichen-gege, Wangji, A-Xian... If I may call you that. If you want you can join us while we play." She said with a smile.

" We would be glad Yanli." Xiongzhang responded with a smile.(don't worry I won't ship them)

We went with them and joined them playing.

After a while we were called for dinner.

At dinner everyone was quiet. Oddly quiet. The silence was first broken by the one and only Madam of Lotus Pier. The Woman I abhore to the bones because if what he has done to my Wei Ying.

" Wei Ying, as you are my friend and my husband's right hand man's son you'll be staying here in lotus pier as our adopted son. Yanli a-cheng he will be your brother from now on. A-Xian you may call me A-niang and you can call Fengmian, A-die." She said with a big smile which actually surprise me. Big change for a day.

" A-Xian welcome to the family." Jiang Yanli said with a big smile.

" Thank you Shijie. Lan Zhan did you here that I have a new family." Wei Ying said smiling at Jiang Yanli then give me a big side hug and smile.

" Mn... Wei Ying deserves a family." I told him tapping the hands he use to hug me.

" But Lan Zhan remember you promise to visit me. Don't forget to visit." He said.

" Mn... If cannot visit, will send letter." I responded.

" A-Xian since you are at the same age with a-cheng, and a-cheng is the heir you will be called the second Young Master of Lotus Pier, but since we want you to continue your father's legacy, your last name will remain a Wei. And also you may call Yanli jie since she will be your sister from now on though not by blood but I know you will be close sooner and for a-cheng you can call him Jiang Cheng, Wanyin, a-cheng or anything that you like as you two are of the same age."  Jiang Fengmian said.

After that, we return to our rooms to prepare for the night. Wei Ying is roomed with Jiang Wanyin. Brother and I are roomed in the guest room with father is in the guest room near us.

" Wangji you take a bath first. I will take after you." Brother offered.

" Xiongzhang must take a bath first. Wangji will talk with Father while Xiongzhang bath." I said. Xiongzhang just nodded his head and went to take a bath. I went to father to asked what happen and why a fast change.

I knocked at father's door. He opened and I entered.

" Father I want to know the details. Why she change drastically. Not that I don't like it but it sounds unreal." I said.

"Wangji, if you know the real story or you were there at the conversation, it is really not a drastic change." Father said while shaking his head.

" Want to know the details." I said firmly.

" I guess I need to talk with you privately." Qingheng Jun said.

" What do you want to talk?" Fengmian asked.

" I want to talk about you and Yu Ziyuan." Qingheng Jun said firmly.

" About what?"

" Call her first here."

Jiang Fengmian then went and called his wife. When his wife arrived Qingheng Jun began to speak, " I know you two have problem which affect your children. I know I just came out of seclusion but I heard many thing for a day of staying in Yiling. I know eavesdropping is prohibited but I'm in Yiling not in Cloud Reccesses."

" What did you hear sect leader Lan?" Yu Ziyuan inquire.

" That there is a very jealous madam, who is jealous because as she said 'her husband loved another woman.' How unfortunate that, that madam's husband's love don't love him but loved his right hand man who in turn sacrifices everything for him even leaving the sect and become a rouge cultivator with his beloved wife. Also, they were gifted with a lovely son, a proof of their unending love. Unfortunately, they both went to the next life leaving their lovely son roaming around Yiling streets alone. Did you happen to know these madam and sect leader?" He said mockingly.

They both fell silent.

" Also they don't know that their 2 children suffers because of the twos misunderstanding. I don't know if their children still looked up to them." Added him still keeping his sarcastic tone.

" I guess the two of you really needs to talk. What happen? The three of us once went to Gusu for study. I can really say, in reality, the three of you, Qiren, Fengmian and Changze, fell in love with Cangse but since Cloud Reccesses time, people already know how lovey dovey Changze and Cangse became. I know Fengmian already accepted that. You even allowed Changze to go out and leave the sect, but why am I hearing you still haven't moved on. Moreover, Ziyuan, if those rumors are true, if Jiang Fengmian don't love you, how did you two have two children? Fengmian will never touch you if he don't love you right? Your children are the fruit of your love. Why do you still doubt it? I'm saying this not only for my cause but think of your children. Wei Changze ang Cangse Saren died. They left their only son at Yiling do you want to still take care of him not out of guilt but out of charity. Their child is about your boys age."

" I... I... I really did love Cangse.... B-but th-that w-was be-before m-me a-and Z-Ziyuan g-got ma-maried." Fengmian shuttered as he confessed.

"I...I...I'm so s-sorry...I didn't k-know that t-this w-will be the re-result of my j-jealousy." Yu Ziyuan said sadly.

" I know it's just because of your lack of communication. You know you must not speak of the dead. You must livefully this moment and do not dwell in the past( this is a song if you want to know). Past will stay there you must let go of it and live thinking about now. You know your kid also needs you. This is what I also realize newly. I know your children are just keeping it inside, but they lack love. Let the three of us change for our children." Qingheng Jun said which made them move to tears remembering what they did to their children.

" I will try my best to change. Not being clouded by my jealousy and to talk more about my feelings. I'm just afraid that Fengmian will change me, I can accept if he don't love me but I'm afraid to be thrown out and not be able to see my children anymore. I'm sorry, I should have trusted you more Fengmian." Ziyuan said now crying.

" I'm also sorry for not clearing it to you my lady but I do love you. I know this marriage of ours is fixed by our sects but I did learn how to love you and I do love you my lady. I have cleared that it my heart during our marriage, when I saw you in your wedding garment, I realized that you are so beautiful and my heart starts to pound faster and I know you were the one for me. I really love you Yu Ziyuan." Said Jiang Fengmian with a smile and teary eyes.

They hugged each other while sobbing.

" Wait. A while a go you mention that they have a son as old as a-cheng roaming around Yiling. Do you perhaps know where he is I will adopt him as a sorry for all the bad words I stated regarding his parents." Yu Ziyuan said while smiling. It's somewhat new for me to see the tough violet spider smiling happily.

" He is with me. The other boy who is not wearing a Lan Sect garment is Wei Ying courtesy name WuXian."

"A-Xian... I guess a new member of the family to add... What do you think?" Asked Yu Ziyuan to her husband.

" Fine with me. Having two son will be beneficial. Since a-cheng is the heir to the throne, he could be the head disciple just like his father. A-cheng and A-Xian could be best friends like me and his father." Fengmian said.

" The head disciple thing is wonderful however the best friend part can't be fulfilled. My second son and Wei Wu Xian already promise friendship. If you just heard what they talked about this morning your hearts will melt by their cuteness. I almost forgot that they are both males that I almost betrothed them, not that I'm against same sect though. Want to know about it?" Qingheng Jun asked playfully.

" Well in the future, if they would really fall in love who are we to stop their beating heart. Even we ourselves has faults on our marriage. I want the kids to love freely....but even though he is the second Young Master of gusu, he still can't escape my wrath if I can see a single tear from my son's eyes." Yu Ziyuan said.

" Well too protective already... But remember Lan's only love once. We ourselves tend to be protective and possessive to the person we loved. So if Wangji do fell in love with WuXian then I'm sure he will punish himself first before you could if he would be the reason of WuXian's tears."

" Very well let's wait for that future to come. Let's call the kids now it's about dinner. I will cook for them." Yu Ziyuan said as she walked to the kitchen. But before she could finally get out of the room she added, "Also, get the adoption paper ready. I would like him to call me a-niang even if he will still hold the Wei last name as that last name is Almost extinct." She finally get out of the room and went to the kitchen. She starts cooking with a happy face painted in her eyes...
