Future Friends, Potential Rivals II

Zyn tried to jump between them, but Reaper was too fast. Just before, the black sword was about to strike him. Alter blocked the strike using his symbiote particles. Reaper did stop there and kept on striking till it hit. Henry was still in control of himself as he kept crying.

That gave enough time for Zyn and Rasvol to intervene and get them apart from each other. Rasvol's shadow moved towards Reaper.

Rasvol, "Shift"

Reaper and Rasvol shifted their positions with each other. But that didn't stop Reaper. His focus on Henry didn't hinder an inch. A black dimension appeared behind Henry, and Reaper thrust his sword front. The sword disappeared halfway and appeared through the black dimension. The symbiote could discern where the sword would come from and deflected it.

Reaper stopped his attacks and took a deep inhale. Rasvol and Zyn understood what was coming. Rasvol ran to Zyn and teleported away from there through a dimensional gate. Alter created a black bubble that covered Henry as he became aware of what was happening around him.

Henry started to walk to Reaper as he was ready to unleash it. Alter kept protecting Henry as he got closer to Reaper.

Henry told Alter, "Take it off me."

The bubble burst, and Henry hugged Reaper. Reaper was surprised because he didn't expect Henry to do that. Since Reaper was also emotional, he let his guard down and began to cry on his shoulders.

Meanwhile, 6km from Rasvol's HQ, Rasvol and Zyn were awaiting Reaper to detonate the HQ.

After waiting a whole minute, Rasvol said, "Maybe not."

Zyn chuckled, "And we were just expecting it to happen there.

Rasvol smiled, "I would have left my servants to die like that. I guess I have changed much in my 2nd life."

Zyn, "Is Domainal Control the strongest out of them?"

Rasvol, "Can't say, but we will find out soon."

They then stood there staring at the building for a few seconds.

Rasvol, "Let's get back then?"

Zyn, "I agree."

They then returned to see Reaper crying on Henry's shoulder still.

Rasvol, "Well, this is unexpected."

Zyn smiled as he saw they were getting along, then remembered an unknown man's prediction.

"That child will have a friend that will be unbreakable, but that friendship will be his destruction!"

Zyn felt uncomfortable thinking about whether this would end him in the future. Even then, he couldn't help but feel happy for him.

Henry got up, gave Reaper a cold look, and said, "Get up now!"

Reaper stood up like a prisoner, slowly.

Alter took control of him and was talking.

Alter, "Henry will not be your friend. I know who you are. If you try to use Henry, I will end you, Reaper!"

Reaper smiled, "You are wrong. We are already friends. Domainal Control!"

Alter was surprised. Even then, He said, "Domainal Control!"

Rasvol gave a creepy smile, "I wanna see this. Take me there."

Zyn agreed, knowing Rasvol too well, and was concerned about what had happened to Henry suddenly due to the personality change.

Zyn created a portal leading to the domain they created.

Rasvol, "Domainal Controls colliding. A Domainal Clash*"

Henry[Alter] floating above lava, Reaper in a field of black hands.

Alter smiled to show his excitement when facing Reaper.

Reaper cloaked himself with all the black hands in his domain to make a reaper cloak.

The next second, he was behind Alter.

Reaper, "This is over."

Alter looks down and sees the black sword through him.

Alter lost his power and energy to fly.

The next second, Reaper held him on his shoulders.

Reaper, "He is my friend. My only friend."

Rasvol and Zyn were watching the fight from afar.

Rasvol, "Reaper might be the strongest now, and Henry has a lot yet to learn."

Rasvol sighed, "Disappointing. There are still 5 years for the tournament."

Zyn didn't say anything as he took Rasvol back through the portal.

Henry lost consciousness in Reaper's shoulders. Reaper remembered what Henry said as he hugged.

After Henry hugged Reaper, They entered a completely different domain. In Henry's true domain, Brighter Lights. Reaper saw his past again as Henry stood side by side with him.

After he saw his life at its end, he turned away, knowing that was all it from his memory.

Henry, "You should not miss the rest."

He looked into the future after his death.

After Martin killed Jack, Martin took Fiona along with him.

791 AD, Martin made it out of Manx on a ship with some pirates headed to Brittany since there was a war in the Northern Sea. Martin had no intentions of getting involved with them since he had Fiona with him to take care of. The ship had to go off route multiple times, which led them to Ireland. The ship's Captain said it might take a while for them to depart from there. Martin went around the village to meet the locals and get to know the place better.

794 AD, Fiona is now 7 years old. They lived there like a family. Fiona has no memory of what happened when she was younger. She believed Martin was her Father. Martin began teaching her how to defend herself when needed.

800 AD, Fiona is 13 years old. Martin heard that the pirate captain was planning to journey to Brittany and was storing food and water until their next stop. Martin wanted to join them in living a normal life as a mercenary. Martin and Fiona continued their journey along with pirates to Brittany. A month later, they almost left the Northern Seas before an English naval ship captured the pirates and Fiona at night. Martin knew it would have happened to them eventually; therefore, he remained precautious.

The pirate captain said with vigour, "We are just some travelling merchant trying to make our way to Brittany to sell what we've got!"

The English captain asked, "Were you?" as his crew handed him a pile of papers.

The English captain went through the papers one by one, looking closely at the faces that resembled the pirates as if they were bounty hunt posters.

The English felt that Fiona was a captive taken by the pirates and wanted to take her away with them. Martin couldn't just watch them take her from him. His instinct just kicked in immediately.

Dropkicked the soldier away from Fiona and told Fiona, "Let's play a game, Fi."

That felt nostalgic to her. She thought she had heard that before when she was younger. She remembered another man telling her that with a warm smile. A pirate carried Fiona out of there. Fiona got back to reality after she got held.

The pirate, "Are you alright, lass? You looked lost in thoughts, it seemed."

Fiona nodded yes.

She looked at Martin as he was fending every soldier off the ship and anyone in his range. The English captain returned to his ship via the rope and remembered seeing Martin's face in one of the bounty posters.

One of the English captain's crew came to his Captain, asking, "Are you alright, Sir?"

The Captain, "Of Course I am. That man. He was a dangerous mercenary during the Norse Invasion!"

They both stared off at Martin as he sliced one of the soldiers in half.

The Captain, "He killed 29,000 men by himself."

The soldier next to the Captain feared the worst would happen and commanded the soldier to retreat. The Captain agreed with his decision. The English naval ship returned from where it came from. The Captain kept staring at Martin, and he kneeled and panted.

Fiona went up to Martin with her hands behind her back. Martin smiled as he panted and expected Fiona to hug him. Fiona ran at Martin, thrusting a sword through his chest. Fiona began to cry. Martin was stunned when she did what she did, but later, he hugged her and said, "Sorry. But I am happy I met you."

The future without Reaper began to fade out, but before it did, it showed Fiona on a royal balcony with a crown on her head and people cheering her from below, "Long Live, Queen Fiona."

That gave Reaper a slight smile with tears of happiness.

Henry, "While on the balcony, she wished you could see it. Her wish came true now."

Back to the present, Reaper looked at Henry unconscious and said, "You truly are my one and only friend in this world."

Reaper carried him on his back and returned to the HQ.

Reaper, "I am leaving now"

Rasvol and Zyn were up the stairs.

Rasvol, "But I didn't finish what I said."

Reaper, "You know. I don't fight UNLESS I am forced to. So, if the time comes, I will be there."

Reaper craved an opening to get out and jumped off.

Rasvol sighed, "Another repair. Probably, I will have to buy the repair company if it happens again."

Zyn, "If Eta and Reaper fought, who do you think will win?"

Rasvol, "Stupid question. Reaper would force Eta to go full-throated, but Eta sweeps the win effortlessly."

Zyn smiled, "You are right there!"
