Tournament part2

Up next was Jarred and an assassin. Before this battle was to go underway. Brad made sure to tell Jarred there wasn't anything special about this assassin due to there being no beast aura behind the player.

Looking over to the player Jarred said to Brad, "I still can't underestimate him. My player is built around using magic due to my beastkin but I'm still following the path of swordsman but with a spear."

Hearing this Brad understood that due to the Phoenix blood Jarred was destined to have a high mana pool but lower health and defense especially since his trait requires him to die.

"I see, but don't forget your the highest level character and in the real world I've never seen you give up on anything even when the odds are against you." Slapping his back Brad smiled and said, "Go get him bud."

Hearing Brad's speech made Jarred who was seemingly nervous gain some confidence back. Jumping down and using his wings to slow the fall Jarred entered the ring.

Ding~

As the bell rang the assassin disappeared from his spot, seeing this Jarred instantly flew up as high as he could in the ring. From Robert he knew that assassin's require to be undetected to deal the most damage but only certain assassin's can hide in shadows many can't leave the ground or height they can jump.

Looking down from around 8 feet in the air Jarred was a safe distance from attack but also close enough to use his spear. Swinging while flying Jarred was sending the assassin farther and farther back to the other side of the ring.

Seeing he was getting pushed back the assassin made a crazy decision to throw one of his short blades at Jarred. Unable to have predicted this Jarred was caught off guard and was struck by the blade.

Although it wasnt a critical still being in stealth allowed the attack to be increased. Caught off guard Jarred fell a couple of feet since the blade hit the armor next to his wing.

Seeing a chance the assassin jumped up and stabbed Jarred.

Seeing that he only has around 550 health left Jarred didnt panick but flew up again and casted fireball since he can see him. Not thinking Jarred had a spell skill the player was struck and was at the edge of his health.

"Match has been decided, Unyielding is the winner."

Hearing this Jarred flew back to Brad and gave him a thumbs up. "See you in the finals Chaos."

"Next match is over, RLR3 is the winner."

Hearing how the name and how fast the match was all the players turned to just see a shadow disappear in the darkness off the ring.

"So he's here too huh" Jarred said, "That's not gonna be fun for our plans but he's a friend so we should have no hard feelings if we beat him."

"Semifinals are starting in 2 minutes, will Chaos and RLR3 please get ready."

Hearing this Brad was pleasantly surprised since he knew he didnt want to fight Jarred or Snow but he also wanted to see how well he would go up against a player as quick as he was.

Looking over to the other side of the ring Brad saw a the shadow of a man start to appear. Behind Robert was a panther cub but for some reason the cub had red eyes and little red horns growing ontop of his head.

'I guess I should ask what kind of beastman he really is that doesnt seem normal.' Brad thought

Ding~

As the match began Brad instantly got into a defensive position, looking straight at Robert waiting for him to disappear.

"I forfeit the match."

"Huh?"everyone said, the most confused was Brad since he had no idea what or why this was done. Walking off the stage Robert said as he faded, "I prefer not to make too much of a stur, 3rd place will do for me."

"Brad is the winner, Next match will start in 2 mintues will Unyielding and Snow please get ready."

Walking back up to the stands Jarred looked at Brad and congratulated him for making it into the finals.

Flying down Brad could only watch again as Jarred goes against Yuu. 'Technically speaking he should win due to element's but since he doesnt know any spells it should be hard. Plus she's way more efficient in casting' Brad thought.

Ding~

As the match started Jarred conjured and threw a fireball. Seeing it Snow dodged out of the way. Conjuring up a crystal on both sides again Snow started her attack. Throwing one but this time keeping the other. Snow kept her distance and started to conjure her next spell.

Rushing up Jarred nimbly dodged the ice and thrusted his spear at Snow.

At just the knick of time Snow manged to blink away but at the cost of her spell. Seeing her a distance away Jarred flew at top speed and re swung his spear.

Unable to dodge again Snow had been hit. Seeing that she lost half her health she started to get nervous. Throwing her last crystal she knew it was done since he was too close and she didnt have anything left but a large area attack that took too long to cast.

"I forfeit the match." Snow stated

"Are you sure? This is the Semifinals it would be ashame to have 2 people get into the finals with the top rewards by forfeits." The three watching asked.

"I'm sure" Looking over at Jarred she said, "lets form a team later." walking and waving she left the match.

"The finals will be starting in 5 mintues this time. Please be ready, Chaos and Unyielding the rules will be changed also to fit a worthy battle."

"Well bud I expect you to only hold back on the one thing but other than that you better give me your all because I won't give you this for free haha." Jarred said looking at Brad.

Smiling and closing his eyes Brad said "I was hoping you would say that." Looking back to Jarred he said "No hard feelings when I win again though okay."

"Oh ho, You got lucky last time this time I will win and prove how amazing I am."
