Slaying The Boar

"Guardian of the Forest? Jarred what does that mean?' Brad asked as he looked at the passive defense increase from the trait.

"Around the village there are woods in perspective to north, east, south, and west. Each area has a boss or guardian that maintains that region, if its a boss its second in command to wildlife compared to a guardian. The plus side is all the extra exp you gain by killing a guardian" Jarred replied as he flew to the boar and shot Fireball.

"Curses we are still to low to deal real damage we will have to widdle this beasts level." Robert said.

Looks like its gonna be awhile.

After a couple of bouts against the boar the trio found a groove in positioning with eachother.

Brad would focus on kiting the beast while Jarred would use his spells and his spear and Robert would charge in sneak to deal damage whenever his skills where refreshed from cooldown.

'Curse this boar is getting faster and faster as the battle progresses' Brad thought as he saw the boars golden fur gain a tint of red. At the moment the boars health had dropped down below 5,000 thanks to Robert.

Once this happens the boar's speed seemed to increase by 25%. Unaware that there was a berserk stage Brad was caught of guard and had been hit by the tusks of the boar making a large deep cut in his thigh.

"Ahhh!!" Brad yelled in pain. Seeing this the boar turned around and used charge. Seeing his position Brad grited his teeth and made a choice.

Fwosh.

From his back came a pair of wings, on his right was a celestial white radiating wing and on his left was a wing black as night that one could feel the darkness leak out from and into their souls to set fear into it. Above his head was a halo that was split in half one side white the other black.

Using his wings of fate skill Brads speed was faster by 10% but not as fast as the beserk from the boar. Knowing this Brad threw his last 4 skill points into speed.

Eventhough the boars speed was still twice as much now almost triple of Brad's due to its side compared to Brad and the trees Brad was still able to barely manage kiting it. Seeing this Brad threw out another Crescent slash.

Jarred was excited to finally see Brad's wings cause now they could continue to widdle down health and also because he was honestly curious to see what he looked like. Robert almost stubbled when he saw the wings radiate out of Brad's back. 'What!? how can he have both a holy and demonic wings!?

As the battle raged on two figures were walking in their direction.

"Snow why are we going this way?" Tusk asked.

"I saw three people walking into this part and one of them was Unyielding, the highest level player right now in the village if we can convince him to follow us we will have a powerful ally and be one step closer to our plans bith in-game and real world." Snow said.

Back at the battle Brad was getting more and more used to his wings, knowing it had a timer Brad started taking more and more chances to beat this boar quicker.

Dodging the bristles again with Jarred in the air Brad uses Charged dash to increase his speed to then slash at the boar. Retreating he then uses Crescent slash to deal more damage to the beast.

At this point the boss has only 500 health left. To the left Robert notices two players walking in thier direction. "Brad, Jarred we got two people to our left they might kill steal what should we do."

"Brad hide no one else should see you just yet you will become a target for all guild recruiting and eventually enemies to the ones you decline if they are short fused." Jarred yelled as he rushed in to take over Brad spot to kite and deal damage when near.

Disappointed Brad retreats to the right and hides a little ways into the woods.

"Look theres Unyielding fighting a boar all alone should we help?" Tusk asked.

"No you dummy we will wait on the sides to let him know we aren't kill stealing have you not learned anything with me?" Snow scolded.

Little did they know Jarred was about to gamble with them.

Seeing the two Jarred said to Robert through the groupchat, "RLR3 attack me and kill me when I say to okay."

Surprised by that request Robert knew from the battle so far that they can trust eachother nodding his head Robert got ready to use his skill on Jarred.

"Now!" Jarred yelled as he charged the boar and made it seem like he was going in for the last chance.

From the shadow of a tree Robert jumped out and slashed across Jarred's neck killing him.

Suprised Tusk and Snow looked at Jarred's glowing body that was falling perfectly in the middle of the boar and them.

Screech!

From Jarred's body flew out a flame cover Phoenix who then spread it wings and fly back into Jarred's body. As if possessed Jarred's eyes went completely enflamed as his body started to burn the grass he was laying on. The wound on his neck healed and his wings where now encased in flames fully as he then flew up 10 feet from the ground and started to rain his flaming plumes in all directions. Surprised by this the two were struck by the flames and died instantly. The boar was faster but its large size made it get hit and die to.

After a few seconds of this fiery rain Jarred's body stopped and he went back down to the ground.

"It's clear Brad we did it and also killed those two." Jarred yelled.

Coming from the trees Brad's back still had its wings. "That move is too overwhelming Jarred."

"True but sadly I have to die to use it." Jarred said.

Coming from the shadows Robert looked at the two and smiled, 'maybe hiding isn't the way to go, these two freaks make me think I'm not as bad.'

Seeing Robert, Jareed looked over and said "okay lets loot this thing, Brad go get the pelt and lets distribute this loot."
