Chapter 19 Targon's journey through The Middle Ages

It was the the 5th century CE the Roman empire had just collapsed with Targon not being in Europe at the time but would return when he learn of Rome's collapse and would try to save as many lives as he could while recording all the events. Targon would see the rise of new kingdom in western Europe while the eastern Roman empire now called the Byzantine Empire would endure for nine hundred years. Over the next few centuries Targon would go back and forth between Europe and Asia stay out of wars only to save people who get caught in the crossfire. It was now the year 1346 which would be the beginning of some grim years for Europe because it would be the year of the black death outbreak. During the outbreak of the black death Targon using the name Roger Schenkopp would explain as best as he could why this plague is happen, Roger would state it started because the Mongol used rotting bodies as weapons which would shock the people hear Roger's explanation, he would then explain that god only wanted us to repent which is way people are getting sick however the devil saw this as an opportunity to spread fear, disappear and death by making the sickness fatal, he would also explain that the rats are the devil curriers which are the one who carries the death curse and he would finally explain that all waste that is laying around every city to leak poisons from hell into our world. After hear Roger explanation the group had a better understand of what was going on and how they can solve the problem and would rally behind him in order to save as many lives as they could even the a priest who had listen to Roger's explanation on how the plague is spreading so fast and why so many people from children to older people are dying from this plague. Roger and other doctors tried their best to save as many lives as they could but they could only save so many even with two of the five surviving clones in Europe and Rogers power to delay the death of infected people. The priest called Alwyn would unexpectedly see Roger using some kind of light which would somehow heal the plague stricken people to which Roger would state that he was not able to completely heal them and would also state he would he managed to delay the plague stricken people by 20-40 years depending on their age no more no less and once the day of their death comes they would simply stop. Roger would explain to the people Roger treat with Alwyn in the room along with him, Roger would also show them his true form which scared them at first but Targon would state that if they believe him to be an monstrous enemy then they are free to kill using the sword Targon had laid beside one of the people he had treated, one of the male patients Targon treated picked up the sword and was about to cut off Targon's head back was stopped Alwyn who explain how Targon had healed them, then the male patient turned to Targon see that he was bleeding red blood which Targon would say if he was a demon a blade would not be able to hurt him, Targon would state that he is neither a divine nor demonic being but a being of flesh and blood just like the people in the room the only difference is the fact Targon is a dragon from another world which shocked everyone in the room, Alwyn would then ask Targon why is he here to which he answered say on journey to find himself who had arrived in their world three thousand years before Jesus Christ. After hearing Targon's reason for coming to their world Alwyn understood and accepted Targon because of his deeds as would the people he had just save. Alwyn would then ask Targon if he meet Christ to which Targon said did not just meet but know and would consider his friend. The night before Christ crucifixion Targon tried convince his friend flee to live another day but in the Christ decided to stay and atone for the sins of other which Targon understood and respected Christs decision, one of Targon's regrets he was that he was unable to save Christ because at the time he had yet to gain a spiritual connection to the elements. Over the last thousand years Targon tried to fight corruption by continuing to say that is not what Christ would want and if the need arose would would even kill those who deserved it, Targon would also state that it was not reason alone that got him this far also say that faith and reason are the shoes on ones feet state that one travels much far with both then with only one. Targon leave the hospital where he was treating the plague stricken people stating there are other who are suffering this plague and must help them just like he did for the people he revealed his true nature to, before he left the people and Alwyn would say they will never forget what he has done for, for the next seven years Targon would help as many people as he could during the black death but even Targon has limits, while history says half of Europes population was wiped out but Targon know only about a third of Europes population would die which would haunt him for a long time because he felt guilty for failing to save so many people.
