CHAPTER 4

Sophia Pov.

I came out from the bathroom and found Jethro and Melody standing in Anderson's sitting room and from the lookout of things, he didn't welcome. The moment Melody saw me; she fumed, and became angry.

''How dare you, you gold-digger? You even followed my fiancé down to his house, without any iota of shame. Do you know the gravity of what you're doing?'' She spoke provokingly.

I just stood, looking at them, with water dripping down my body. I didn't even know what to say because I was beginning to have a guilty conscience. No, I shouldn't have done this to her. For God's sake, she is my step-sister. My heart began to beat fast.

Jethro just stood, folding his hands, and shaking his head. He was disappointed in me.

Suddenly, ten giant men from nowhere, whom I think are Anderson's bodyguards, came out from their closet, and all stood in strategic locations, without saying anything.

''And you, you should be ashamed of yourself, for cheating on me. After all, we have been through, you've sacrificed your dignity just because of this moron here'' Melody spoke to Anderson, pointing fingers at me.

''If you dare raise your voice at me again, I shall kick you out and report your evil to the police. How dare you?'' Anderson blasted, as he crossed his both legs and relaxed them on his chair.

''I can't believe that you are the one saying this. You are talking to me like this because of her? I think she has bewitched you and cast a spell on you. However, I'm convinced beyond every reasonable doubt, that the both of you planned this together'' She said arrogantly.

Anderson quickly raised his head like an angry lion and displayed red eyes, which signified him being angry.

''You are the one who set us up. You think I don't know? I have always known that you are an evil lady, right from the first month I started to follow you'' Anderson spoke.

''Why would you accuse me of doing such a thing?'' She was full of tears, as she tried to clear her name from Anderson's accusations.

She fell on the floor and began to weep massively, in a pathetic way. I also began to feel for her and when Anderson saw that I was about to go over to console her, he raised one of his left fingers, suggesting a warning to me, not to interfere in her scheme.

He looked at Jethro with a wicked look, and quickly removed his gaze on him.

He clicked his left finger again, and one of his bodyguards came with a videotape. He played it in a C.D., and what appeared before everyone, was a shock. Damn, I never believed that Anderson was moving with security dudes secretly, until now. 

Melody quickly ended her cry and was left in confusion, after watching the videotape.

Anderson clicked his finger again then, four of his bodyguards, ran towards both visitors and kicked them out of the mansion.

Anderson then turned to me, knelt and proposed. It was like a dream.

Two days later, I and Anderson got married in the law court, but it was a marriage based on a contract.

I had to accept his proposal because I needed to get back at my enemies. I just needed to deal with my step-mother, for all the evils she has committed towards me, since she was the major cause of my adversaries, and also, my step-sister, Melody.

Jethro my stupid ex-lover also needed to be dealt with for working alongside Melody. Although, the both of them, are now great lovers, who have always built secret wars with me.

However, Anderson has yet to tell me why he proposed for a contract marriage with me. I think something was going on in his life and his professional career that needs to be properly checked. 

On the other hand, Anderson bought a house for ''Jessica'' my mother, who started living there along with my two brothers, and two sisters.

Meanwhile, we needed to go on our honeymoon holiday, so Anderson decided to go shopping at a supermarket, far away from the mansion.

We were selecting the various clothes and shoes that we wanted, when all of a sudden, Jethro walked in, with his friends.

He made sure our eyes jammed together so that he would start his schemes against us.

''Fools. What on earth are you dudes doing here? Do you think this place is meant for sexually perverted dudes? You no longer find happiness in the hotel room, but here right? Two stupid lovers who are shameless'' He said.

As he was talking, people in the supermarket hall, stopped and concentrated on him. They wanted to see how the dragging would end. The arena was not a place meant for poor people but for rich dudes. Many celebrities love to patronize the market so, they could just take photos around there, to post on their various social media channels.

We were not even moving about with security personnel openly, but I knew that Anderson's men were somewhere watching him.

At one point, Jethro came closer to me and was almost knocking me, when the supermarket manager suddenly walked in.

''Please sir, we don't appreciate conflicts around here. If you have issues with them, I suggest you meet them outside and settle your fracases amicably'' He informed.

All this while that he was speaking against me and Anderson, Anderson refused to answer him in action, or words. He just let him express his foolishness first, before pounding on him.

''Manager, you shouldn't let these two lovers come here again'' Jethro suggested to the supermarket's manager, who started to shiver, as he sighted Anderson.

Also, the rest officials all stood at attention, upon seeing Anderson my husband. They stood with respect and fear for him.

'' What is happening, why are all they behaving like this?'' I asked myself in worry.
