Miss...Who?

I think I'm crazy, but those people says I'm not..? Are they even human? Why can’t most humans see them? You saw that just now right, Eleanor??? The world surely is turning upside down. What is happening to... Eh, I'll just suck it up and fight them. That's what's important to be alive right now... ~~~ (Btw, this is my first time posting a work of mine online, so it might not be that good yet, but I promise it'll get better, hopefully.)

Bathroom Escape

"WHAT IN THE HOLY PRICK IS THAT THING???!!?!" Eleanor whisper-screamed the second I locked both the main and the stall's door in the bathroom.

Both our faces looked like white sheets of paper.

Like come on, It's not like every day we see a slimy muddy monster with legs and hand longer than two feet!

"Do you think I would know??!? That is the first time I've seen that thing! I don't even know if it's real or if it's still in our class waiting for us!" I said back, controlling both my shock and my fear for that thing.

Both of us shivered just by thinking of it.

"It is right next to me and I can assure you that that thing is real. And it even smells like what we saw, mud and I don't know, shit?!? It's disgusting!" She said, panting real hard.

Must be from the short dash from our class to this bathroom stall.

"You're already tired from that run? No offence but that is pretty weak of you." I murmured to myself, not wanting her to hear it, but she might have heard it.

"Hey! I can afford to ride a car to school. That's why I'm tired of just a short run. I don't have to walk to school every day as you do, that's for poor people." She argued, face red still.

Just as she was about to continue, I heard the main door of the bathroom open quietly, and after that, you know when you fold a slime it's got that squishy and squeaky and sticky sound? Yeah, that's what I heard later. And with no doubt, I knew that was the monster thing.

"Shh-" I shushed her by moving forward to cover her mouth with my hand.

And, do you know that there is this… Japanese move called 'Kabedon', where a man, which is me now, pushing a woman, which is Eleanor now, into a wall, slamming 'his' hands next to 'her' head and flirt with her?

That is what happened, except the fact it ain't romantic with the flirts and that we are now on the filthy bathroom floor.

"An-MMPPHH-" Her eyes widen as a pink tint spread over her face, but disappeared when she heard the monster coming close.

"It's here already?!?" She whispered once I released my hand from her mouth.

"Well duh." Just as I said that a string of mud, thick like a rope, slithered in the bathroom stall from the top part of the door, down to the level of the doorknob, and moved forward to our spot.

Both of us stopped our breath. None of us breathe single air at that time.

Slick...squish...pop!

That final pop made me regain my senses, and I pulled Eleanor down even further and pulled her to the bathroom stall's door, keeping a distance from the muddy thing, which hasn't moved an inch since it went down from there.

Out of a sudden, the muddy rope (I'm gonna call it that now because I have no idea what it is.), turned around to face us, went towards us, so quick and forceful that the door shook crazily while the thing punctured a hole into it.

Even though the door was punctured, and shooked so hard with the pressure, it still is sturdy, which is a good thing.

Anyways, luckily and surprisingly, Eleanor pulled both of us down just a millisecond before the thing did that, so now we are sitting on the floor.

Even though that move made our bums feel like we sat on needles, that was some pretty good reflexes.

"Save the thanks for later, help me think of a plan to escape this right now," Eleanor said, "Please, I beg you!"

Tears formed in her eyes again and her hand, which are still at my shoulders, are shaking really bad.

At that time, I had a sudden desire to hug her and comfort her but now is not the time.

We both need comforting right now but we'll save that for later.

So instead, I stormed through my brain and think of any possible way to escape.

And so, another idea popped out in my head, and most likely I've seen people do this in movies or books, so there is only a 50/50 chance if it might work or not.

"Okay here's the plan. First I-" my sentence was cut short when the muddy rope thingy budge itself out from the door and looked at us..?

I know that is not possible since it had no eyes popping out of it, but I feel like it really was looking at us, or maybe it can hear us whispering or sense us like those zombies in movies?

Either way, the thing immediately shot itself at us again, missing us in just a few inches.

Cool to know that we both have really quick reflexes, even though I used to be dull until now.

Since it's the second blow the door endured, it shook up even more and has now fallen down.

And to no one's surprise, the thing is right behind us, a trail of mud behind it, and with every single one of his eyeballs facing us.

Shivers ran down my spine but I still need to get out of there, asap.

I mouthed to Eleanor, "just follow me and trust me no matter what if you want to live."

She looked at me like I was sick for a moment, unsure to trust me or not, but still, she nodded quickly.

Just as she nodded, I ran towards the front of the monster and took a sharp turn towards the bathroom window which is at the top, but enough for me to reach it to pull myself up and out, along with Eleanor.

I channeled all my strength and practically climbed the wall, and even that I struggled a bit, I still managed to safely climb to the top and break open the window, and just as I thought, three, big enough for a human to stay in, recycle bin, was lined up just right

bellow.

My plan is perfect now, but the only problem left is Eleanor, who is struggling to get herself up.

"Hurry up! It's coming!" I shouted, and yes, the thing really did turn towards us and is now slowly 'walking' towards us.

Mud splattered on the floor when it moved and I guess that if he move even more, all of its mud is going to fall of, though it might be renewed.

"Help me!!" she shouted back, so I steadied myself, and use my strength again to help her up, and boy was she heavy.

"Aghhhhh!!!" She groaned as I pulled her up and because Mr. Gravity happens to exist, both of us fell down without preparing for the fall.

Luckily we're falling outside and down to the recycle bins and not inside down to the monster, who looks like it was angry since its prey's got away.

Both of us hugged each other tightly, like our live depends on it, literally.

And...

POOF!!!

Both of us landed, roughly, in the recycle bin.
