CHAPTER SIXTEEN: crystal blue butterfly pearl long tassels hollow earrings

The same marble that lined the halls of the lobby and the second floor lines the walls of the elevators as well.

Once in the elevator the next surprise was the speed of the elevator. It's a sensation that was felt as the ride was very smooth and comfortable, the only indication of her speed is from the red LED floor indicator hovering above the door.

The elevator moved so fast the LEDs don't have the pace to indicate every floor you pass.

Once the trip was completed the silver mesh doors parted once again and Gun Chatmanee walked out into the hallway.

Analyn Agwa stood in the shadows by her bedroom window, her back to the room. From her vantage position on the twentieth floor of the building where their flat was located, she had a bird's eye view of the sprawling town. Floodlights having brightened up the mood of the town. Card racing on the highways and advertisment television billboards with videos of their hosts bragging about how good their products were. The rising moon shone on rooftops, giving them a dark blue tinge. Across the roads that criss-crossed the town, diminutive figures of men and women hurried briskly to their homes. Uniformed children running across the roads playing with each other after schooling for the whole day. Beneath her, down at the courtyard,she could see a woman walking into the building as she was scrolling through her mobile phone.

Gun Chatmanee walked through the hallway as her heels made a click clack sound. She first came to a sudden halt I'm front of their neighbor's door, she opened her purse and tried to locate her mobile phone and the new pair of  crystal blue butterfly pearl long tassels hollow earrings that she had bought as gift for her friend. After finding them, she continued on with her journey.

Gun Chatmanee found a pair of butterfly and studded decor chunky heeled mule sandals outside the apartment.

Gun Chatmanee knocked slightly on the door and waited for Analyn Agwa to open the door for her.

Gun Chatmanee's roommate,Analyn Agwa was shocked, she walked to the door with a guilty conscience. She opened the peephole and peeked outside.

The door creaked as Analyn Agwa opened the door after confirming that it was Gun Chatmanee. She was in a dark green bae glitter cami top and skirt and wore a pair of pink fluffy slippers.

"Hello!" Analyn Agwa said as she cuddled and hugged Gun Chatmanee.

Gun Chatmanee presented the crystal blue butterfly pearl long tassels hollow earrings to Analyn Agwa who smiled in return to her friend.

"Thank you!" Analyn Agwa replied as she hugged Gun Chatmanee once more.

They both walked into the house and Analyn Agwa picked her heels as Gun Chatmanee changed her heels into light blue fluffy slippers which were meant for indoors.

Gun Chatmanee walked to the sofa on the lounge room and placed her purse on her sofa then helped herself to the seat.

Analyn Agwa went directly to the lounge room where she picked up the remote control from the glass top console table and switched on the LED television. Before she went to the dining room where she prepared the last bit of dinner. Gun Chatmanee on the other side was busy scrolling through her cellphone checking what had been kept in store for her.

After some minutes, Gun Chatmanee went and took a shower as she had left her cellphone on the charger. She came out all dressed up in green checkered white a slim fit, square neck, mini hem,unlined zip fastening along back and a pair of green sandals and found Analyn Agwa seated already showered and dressed in a floral print sweetheart neck puff sleeve drawstring dress.

Analyn Agwa served the food.

There were clinking of the dishes as Gun Chatmanee washed them while Analyn Agwa was watching the television.

"Buy! Buy! Buy!" The female host announced.

"Or you may miss a chance to buy the grandest television on the whole internet." She added. This was Analyn Agwa's second time watching the advertisement again.
