Miss Ranko chapter one
Part one
Well it was the mid-summer down north of firefly village, where I had lived. All of
our tribes gathered for a feast, the celebration for our new leaders for each of
the tribes that help and work with each other.
They were five tribes the first one was Stoneray Tribe
Then Cloudstone Tribe, Glass Tribe, Claw Tribe, and Whitefeather Tribe.
My mother was the former leader of the Stoneray tribe, she stood their firmly
next to my eldest Brother, Alastair Stoneray, He was the next of kin of becoming
a leader for our Tribe. As for me I had sat next to my childhood best friend Eskai Glass,
As we watch the ceremony of each tribe get the next of kin for leadership
I whispered to Eskai" After the ceremony we should go find Mori."
Eskai shrugs while looking over the Cloudstone tribe and whispers back" you
mean that Cloudstone boy?" he then looks forward" but he seems pretty shy ."
Ranko smiles" but he is our friend like come on its been 5years since we last seen him"
Mori Cloudstone shyly stares at them then looks over at his Aunt" Hey.
auntie" She looks at him then gave a soft smile" Mori you should go see that
boy and that Stoneray girl you use to play with you need friends your own age." Mori blushed then walks away" okay thank you auntie"
Mori left his side of the tribe and went towards Ranko and Eskai they both look
over him smiling Eskai then waves at him" Hey Mori you look so different since
we last met you" Mori crossed his arms" well it's been five years I rarely travel"
Ranko blushed at him staring at his eyes" it's nice to see you again Mori"
Mori sat beside Ranko as Eskai notice the Ranko was blushing he then moved a
bit closer to her the show both of them a picture" Remember when we swam at
the pond and we didn't know that was where they dump the animal's
poop". Ranko glance at him then turns red" you still remember that?" Mori
giggled then looks at Alastair" well let's be quite sir Alastair is looking at us" Ranko nods then
looks towards the ceremony "okay Eskai smiled and then looks over at the next
of kin of leadership" All of our Brothers are being chosen this time" he thought to himself
during the ceremony they talked about the 6 laws for each tribe Alastair looks at
the elder and the leader of the Stoneray tribe as the Leader looks up at him
saying the laws", the first law is put your people first before you think of, you're
self, second law by the age of 18 to 25 every young woman should be wed to single suiters,
third law never go against any tribe or disrespect them in anyway, fourth law
You cannot be married to anyone to Hart clan or Even bother with them in anyway
Fifth law "you should be on high alert and make sure everyone is training, hunting, and making material things in need
Sixth law…." Alastair looks at his mother then he tilts his head whispering
"mother come on "she then looks at him smiling" the sixth law you can decide on
what is going to be the best for our people and all the other tribes"
The Stoneray tribe was muttering and whispering as the other tribes were in shock as the Cloudstone male waltz up beside Alastair, He then turns around.
Alastair looks at his people and the other tribes "the six law I shall be making
will be made after all the leaders are marked and talk with our elder so will can be equal and fair with our laws, thank you for your support" Ranko sighed" my brother is so cool!" Mori smiled "yeah" as Eskai scoffs" My brother is cooler" he thought to himself.
The elder stares at the Cloudstone male" now what is your name young man?"
The Cloudstone male glance at the elder" I'm Gabriel Cloudstone I'm the next of
kin for leadership, as you can see our tribe's leader passed on due to an illness"
the elder nods" well since you're next of kin you will be making your own laws"
Gabriel turn to his people and looks over at his little brother Mori with his golden-brown eyes
" first law never turn a blind eye when someone in the tribe needs help or any of the other tribes needs help, second law Don't disrespect or harm anyone in our tribe or any other tribes" third law If wanting to go travel places, as in visiting village please inform me and I shall grant you your leave with a letter to give to the tribes leaders. Fourth law You must be wed at the age of 18 to 25 only if single and to other tribe members, fifth law and sixth law will be made after all the leaders are marked and talk with our elder so we can be equal and fair with our laws, thank you for your support"
Mori sighed "I wish things could just speed up" Ranko smiled at Mori Staring at
his bright golden-eyes" Me and Eskai can show you around my village as soon as
the ceremony is over" Eskai smiled That sounds fun we can even go to Ranko's hot-spring" Mori Stares at them and smiled back" okay" he said happily.
The Cloudstone tribe looks over us as they notice that Mori was smiling
His brother smiled and thought to himself "He is finally smiling after all this time; He must have missed his friends"
The leader of the Glass tribe went next to the elder The male sighed then yells" damn it Damon quit flirting and get over here!" the tribes giggled and chuckles at Damon Glass as he ran towards the leader and the Elder" sorry but There are so many beautiful women here" Alastair laughed " you never change my friend" he thought to himself as the Leader of the Glass tribe smiled" sorry my elder he is at the point of finding a wife " he whispered " the elder smiled" okay Damon Glass the Six laws your Father and leader will tell you"
The leader then crossed his arms" first law Be aware that you should keep your tribe and other tribe members safe when they come to our village and don't disrespect them, second law every man and woman should be training, working or even helping anyone in need of help even for other tribes, third law the males
should do a propose to the women they truly love and only one women, but how ever not to the Hart clan, fourth, fifth and six law you will be making on your own" Damon nods then looks over at the other tribes then smiled" the other laws will be made after all the leaders are marked and talk with our elder so will can be equal and fair with our laws, thank you for your support" Damon walks to Alastair and Gabriel " well after the ceremony we should see if our siblings want to hang out with us before we make our laws together" Gabriel nods" that's actually a good idea you had since we came here" Alastair nods "yeah you usually want to chat up all the ladies before we hang out
The elder then walks up to the Claw tribe and the Whitefeather tribe" have you both decide on if you want to make any laws?" The leader of the claw tribe nods" no not at all, but as long as we stick together and help one another equal then we don't need any laws" The leader of the Whitefeather tribe crossed his arms" same goes for us no laws will be made, we are honest and peaceful tribe we will help when we are needed"
The elder then smiled at them then looks over at all the other tribes" we shall start our feast and enjoy each other is company within the next three days we will make our laws, but for now let's celebrate our gathering, and if you are at the age of 18 to 25 or over and single please don't hesitate to find a wife"
Ranko then sat up and grabs Eskai and Mori's hand" Let's go I have a lot to show you guys" she said excitedly" Eskai and Mori followed Ranko and laughed" okay no need to rush we are here for three days" Ranko blushed then smiled" I know, but still they are building my mother's inn bigger I have to show that first!"
Alastair moves IN front of Ranko "My dear little sister what's the rush?" Ranko, Eskai and Mori Stops and looks at him, Ranko lets go of her friend's hands" I want to show them our mother's inn" Gabriel smiled" how about later and the three of you can hang out with your new leaders" Mori looks over at them" What about Damon?" Eskai looks around" Yeah where is my Horn dog of a brother"
Damon laughs" is that what you say to your leader?" Eskai had a pale look on his face" Oh..."
Ranko giggles at Eskai and Damon as Gabriel smiled at Ranko" Is That really Ranko Stone-ray?" Alastair smiled "Yes this here is my little sister first time you
Seen her she was about 12 or 13" Ranko looks at Gabriel then looks over at Mori noticing that Mori was blushing staring at her Eskai then smiled" So Big Brother
Damon what are you guys planning to do about the laws?" Alastair sighed" lets
go someplace more private the other tribes are looking at us at the moment"
Gabriel nods" Indeed we shall "Ranko starts to walk away well follow me I know a place" Before they had start to follow her the elder walts to them" May I have a word with all of you before you guys go chit chat" Damon smiled at the old man"
yes, for sure" Eskai stood beside mori as Ranko looks at all of them the elder than shrugs" I need you to look after these two young boys there about Eskai and Mori's age" Alastair then looks at the two boys" what are your names?" the first one had long brown hair he had a bandana around his head" I'm Ace Claw from the claw tribe." The next male glances at all of them" I'm silver Whitefeather, I'm very pleased to meet you"
Damon smiled and went up to Ranko "well you can follow us we are being led by the pretty Stoneray girl" Ranko blushed" you can at least use my name Damon" the elder laughs well you guys have fun come to the camp area before sun down"
LATER
Ranko sat beside Mori as she dip her feet in the water" I love this area you can literally see the camp and my village here plus its quite here" Mori smiled as splashes Ranko a bit" I sure hope this water doesn't have poop in it" Eskai laughs" Yeah Ranko" Ranko turns red" Hey Eskai you were the one that led us to that pond not me"
Damon laughs" boy you three sound like a married couple" Silver and Ace giggled at them as Alastair smiled" so Silver and Ace the reason why we are here" Gabriel clears his voice" you guys are reaching to marrying age" Ranko jolts up and accidentally pushes Mori in the water" I don't want to marry!!" Mori then gets out the water" well no choice your 16 at the moment so lots of time" Eskai then sighed" I don't like the fact either, it's Not fair for Ranko or Mori"
Gabriel sighed" is that how you two feel Ace and silver?" Silver nods" well yeah, I would really want to marry someone I Love but I also want to take my time
getting to know them first before marriage" Ace sighed" Well I already have someone I want to marry I love her" Alastair then looks at them" wow…I don't even have a lover and you like about 17 or 18?" Before ace could say anything Ranko then Laughs at Her brother" It's because your to chicken to even ask your lovey dovey out and your 24" Damon laughed " well before marrying once you hit 18 you still have about seven years to get to know the one that was chosen to marry you and when you're about to turn 26 that's when you marry that same person"
Alastair glance at Ranko" Well I do have this idea for our law" Ranko crossed her arm then flips her long hair" and what is that?" Alastair smiled" no one shall marry the leader's siblings unless, or until they find true love" Ranko grins" you do that for me big brother?" Everyone stared at them as mori looks down thinking to himself" I really wanted to marry Ranko…" Eskai yells" that's so cool"
Gabriel then noticed the mori was looking away from Ranko then sighed" Well I shall do the same if you're going through with this Alastair It will be fair for each of our tribes" Damon gave a warm smile" plus it will give me more time to chat up the ladies" Mori laughed at Damon" So we will still have like seven years to be with the one we love eh?" he muttered as Ranko looks over at him then smiled" yes that's about right, um did you already find a lover?" Mori turns red" Urk No I was like…asking"
Eskai smiled at them" I wonder when Ranko will realize that mori likes her" Eskai thought to himself"
Damon let out a sigh as Silver looks over them" So what are we going to do for the next three days? Ranko glance at him" well I was going to show Eskai and
Mori around my mother's Inn then head towards the hot-springs that I recently build" Ace howled" now you're talking let's go to the hot-spring first"
Alastair sneered at Ranko" and this hot-spring you speak of you were thinking about taking a bunch of boys there?" Ranko nods" yes, don't worry big brother
there is an old woman that got me to make a wall to be made separated so
males on one side the other side for females" Alastair sighed in relief "good I wouldn't want anyone being a peeping tom too my little sister I would kill them"
Damon looks away as Eskai sweat a bit as Mori turns red" Um so can we go then?" Silver crossed his arms" Yeah I need a good soak from all the traveling"
