Chapter 38: Why am I familiar with dark places?

Another week had passed, Hiroki felt the odd sensation that something wasn't feeling right...

"Weird...something is definitely wrong but I can't tell what it is..." Hiroki muttered to himself as Yunyun was glaring daggers at him while Megumin was silent, hugging his arms as he ponders his problem.

If he had his common sense or his instincts backing him up to see what was wrong, he could already tell that the situation he is in right now can basically summarize as 'Harem Protagonist' thats screaming at him right now.

But for some reason...

Whenever he would reach that conclusion, his instincts basically yelling at him to avoid that thinking or he would f***ing kill himself.

It doesn't help that his thinking that was screaming at him to see what was wrong but his instincts basically b**** slap his own common sense that he doesn't want to court death.

'I know what was wrong but if I avoid it, I can at least secure my life for a bit more.'

Hiroki thought to himself as Megumin was a bit warm after hugging Hiroki, the constant dreams she had on him got a bit too enticing that it went to the point of hugging him in real life.

Her brain problem went haywire after she started to have dreams of him, from simple and wholesome relationship and marriage to the more... Sexual stuff.

Hiroki and Megumin's whole situation was basically the fault of Hiroki's race working on Megumin's lust while at the same time the protagonist Halo x2 is a great enticement to a 'Heroine' which causes her to become quite attached to him.

Her personality was slowly being eroded by too much stimulation. It finally broke itself once Hiroki intentionally activated his racial skill to make amends with Megumin, not really knowing that he was tempting her at her weakest moment.

While Megumin was a 'Heroine', her mental defense wouldn't even be destroyed easily but he encountered 'Hiroki', an abnormal person who was slowly destined to do something impossible, after obtaining a trait that he would become an enemy of women.

What was shown on the skill tree was the last one and if he ever found at least one of the skills on the list, he would quickly bolted to a deserted place where he was alone and live a life as a hermit for eternity.

Hiroki would scream madly as if the world seems to hate him but if anyone else were to have these kinds of skills, they would be shocked to the core that Hiroki was made to be some kind of a protagonist that was a winner of all.

Who can blame anyone if they were to have the life of Hiroki right now?

Gifted with the abilities of Minecraft with mods, a power with limitless possibilities, a system that can turn someone into a god, protagonist Halo multiplied by 2 and even a harem which he didn't have to struggle seducing any girl.

Who doesn't want that at all?

If Hiroki were to hear that, he would yell at them for thinking that their lives are too easy.

They didn't have to fight off their own mother's umbilical cord that was trying to kill them, truck-sama visiting you went you were a toddler, your town was attack by terrorist and even having to fight for your life in some fight pit to pay off your mother's medical bills.

And Hiroki doesn't even know what other s*** he had to deal with since he probably forgot it since he was too young to remember.

He was just only asking for a normal life, maybe be born as a priest or a monk but he definitely didn't want this kind of life.

Trouble seems to follow him like a stalker who wants their senpai in their basement.

He shook that off for now since these girls that were sticking to him couldn't compare about the figure that was standing right in front of him.

Using the materials he gathered while mining deeper on the ground, some magic tech that he almost got scared because it was almost eerily similar to coding back in his past life, and a little bit of creativity...

He finally did it.

"I...i finally done it..." Hiroki, with a tear in his eyes, smile joyfully as he slowly caress the metalic figure right in front of him.

Yunyun and Megumin's gazes towards him felt a bit deeper yet they were ignored by Hiroki as hugged the metal-like figure, as if it was his lover.

"My precious...how long I wanted to make you..." Hiroki held it close, afraid that it might disappear as Yunyun and Megumin felt their gazes a bit more malicious yet he still ignore the two of them.

Looking at the 'Golem' which translates from this world as Robot, Hiroki made it less humanoid and more robotic as he still made the body more 'Human' yet the similarities are just that as Hiroki's aesthetics went to designing it completely like how a cool mecha should look. The head had a more 'Helmet-like' look which was formed into a motorcycle like design, its figure having a more 'Cool' and slick design which can only be called 'badass' when looking at his design choices.

Hell, Hiroki even went as far as trying to draw the schematics on it, making its appearance more alluring that even Mecha otakus would judge him nicely for giving it a nice appearance.

In fact, Hiroki put more effort making this thing than how he could use this to seduce a woman, go on a date with her, get married and even have kids. This is basically all that effort just into making this single robot combined.

So, him being deeply in love with his creation just put into perspective that he basically forgot about the two 'Friends' he made and was totally infatuated with the robot.

"Say Hiroki. Just asking, which is more important to you? Me or that 'Golem'?" Yunyun lately was having a difficult time thinking as her gaze was always constantly on Hiroki, not realizing that her personality went a complete change after the incident at Megumin's place.

She would constantly have this strange thoughts of her wanting to lock Hiroki in her basement and doesn't want him to be close with Megumin anymore. She felt like she was just fine that only Hiroki was her friend and no one else.

'Hiroki...I want you to continue to stay by my side...' Yunyun's thoughts became more dark as she suddenly find out about Hiroki's 'True' love not being the women close to him but an inanimate object.

So, she decided to ask which was important to him.

"Well, Yunyun. You know that I always put you above everything else since I'm your friend right?" Hiroki just simply says it to her, the words were too warm for her that...

She couldn't believe the lies he's been spewing from his mouth.

[B****! You think that I would throw my love for Robots because I care for you? If not for the contract, I would basically be running back to my hometown and start a farm! I knew that Yunyun and Megumin is acting strange but my instinct is telling me that I shouldn't say it out loud or I would be sleeping in a basement somewhere.]

[Strange...why is instinct telling me that I f*** up somehow and why are Yunyun and Megumin looking at me deeply....]

[F***! Did they found out where I stash all my watermelons?! I've been hiding them throughly that even I don't know where I hide them.]

[Wait, why is my instincts wrong and its telling me that these girls could read my mind or my inner thoughts? Thats crazy! My instinct is crazy-]

"Sleep." Yunyun decided to shut up his talkative inner thoughts or she might lose her mind after seeing how insignificant she is to a damned 'Robot'.

"H-huh....w-wha..."

And Hiroki fell asleep through a magic Yunyun secretly leared.

When he wake up, he was now tied in a basement...

"....Why am I so familiar with dark places such as tunnels and basement?"
