Volume two Kevin and Myra needed to stay together. Myra was accused of manipulating of company fund and Kevin decided to help her. They stayed together and developed feelings d more for each other.

"Let go of me, Peter." Myra gritted, her face was beginning to turn red from anger.

She tried to yank her hands off but he grabbed her harder. "I need to speak to you, my love, please."

They were in the middle of the hall and Peter was beginning to attract undue attention.

"What do you want from me exactly?" Myra didn't hide her disgrace. She wanted nothing more than to be far away from him but she didn't want unnecessary attention.

"I just need to speak with you, Myra. I really need to," he said desperately. " You really need to hear me out. Please," he pleaded softly.

He placed an arm on her waist, pulling her closer, trying to make it seem like they were a couple.

"I said, let go of me!" Myra screamed and almost immediately, a strong arm yanked Peter's hands off from behind her.

"You should learn to respect women, the brute!" The thick voice sent chills down her spine, his hands pulling her gently away from a shocked-faced Peter.
