A Sheep Or A Wolf?

Walking through the automatic double doors and passing through the student ID initiated security system, Zhu Hua whilst looking for her class on the schools app was immediately stopped.

The vice-principal next to the stair case urging her towards him, wagging his fingers as other people watched on. A cold smile on his lips.

Handing over her simple black skateboard in his outstretched hand. Her blonde hair sticking out like a sore thumb, watching him curiously as they clamoured up to class slowly.

"Young Master Liu, it's already your first day and you're already causing trouble." Hidden contempt in his gentle smile, saying aloud so everyone could hear.

"The schools manual didn't say anything about bringing in a skateboard, if you can bring in a bike why not a skateboard?" Her back straight, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I don't know what your grandfather might have taught you but..." he said with a smile. "The school manual also states that the school will not be liable for harm caused by ones own actions in the school grounds." Hinting at her grandfathers mixed heritage.

Furrowing her brows, she sighed a hint of disgust in her eyes at his subtle racist behaviour. "My Grandfather is Major General Xie-many people say I look like him and I'd like to aspire to achieve that level of trust." A bright smile on her lips as she talked about her future, something all teachers should want to discuss with their students.

"Apparently as an incredibly hardworking soldier he became Major General- he conscripted later on when he was twenty eight?" Chatting rigorously, an air of coldness making the Vice-Principal stiffen.

"Becoming General in less than a decade? Considering your age... I wonder why your only Vice-Principal yet?" Asking innocently, seeming to ask about his well being.

"You?! How can you be so-"His true colours coming out.

"Oh right!" Nodding her head in remembrance, looking up at his black face. "When I was walking past the football field yesterday, I wonder why but it smelled a little funny?" Sniffing around his nose scrunched a little.

Walking a little close to Mr. Shen, an icy chill slithered in his veins as an expressionless voice whispered. "It reeks... Mr. Shen."

Stepping back, she watched as he flapped his blazer sweat dripping down his temple with rapid anxiety.

"I always wondered why grandfather said that a bunch of students were getting expelled for no reason?" Smiling as he watched the changing colours of his face, black to red and green.

Pushing back the skateboard, a smirk on her lips. "Mr. Shen I have detention, this is against school policy." She reiterated, pushing back the skateboard.

The bell ringing before running to class with a brief nod.

Young master Tian who was lingering behind him, finishing off his tea and ignoring the teachers scolding of his sloppy attire. Listened as he hung around the bin his mouth filled with tea and meat, snorting he pressed a hand to his mouth. Trying to suppress his laughter, a little bit of respect for the new kid. Knocking his chest trying to get the food down easier.

'If it's not the tea he's drinks, it's the weed he's smoking. Lol.' Remembering how a buddy of his was expelled for no reason, sending him those words in a text.

Throwing his trash away, slamming his shoulder against his listening to his angry words with deaf ears. A blank look on his face tilting his head to let him look at his innocent face.

In Maths she stood in front of the chalk board expressionlessly, being glared at by the other guys who shuffled to their seats. Her eyes narrowing as she listened to the squelching of dragged chairs against the wooden flooring.

The teacher who was still fairly young and sharp assessed Zhu Hua, fumbled with the classroom planning sheets.

"Xiao Zhi your math results on the entrance paper that you did... wasn't that great-as a whole in fact, so your in the lower middle tier." He explained kindly.

"Exams are coming up soon- if your like the rest you probably hate maths, however you have to promise you'll try okay?"

Nodding her head, she wiped the grin off her lips. Remembering all the math trophies she got in college for extra credits and food tickets.

The teacher ruffled her head a little confused by her behaviour.

Coming up with an excuse, "I did the test on my phone so..." Her laidback attitude surprised the teacher, a little frown on his forehead.

"Why? Don't you know how much cell phones affect your concentration? That's why drivers shouldn't play on the phone whilst driving!" He scolded in annoyance.

"It doesn't matter because I got in." Explaining with a shrug.

Feeling a knuckle on her head, she clicked her teeth as the teacher looked at her worryingly.

"Everyone's here now, so do your introduction and then go find an empty seat."

"Mm. I'm Liu Zhi Ruo, let's get along well from now on." Nodding her head as she gripped her backpack.

"Xiao Zhi go and sit next to xiao Tian."

"Yes." Clicking her teeth in annoyance, remembering the guy from before.

A leg outstretched blocked her way, pausing as the teacher looked away she smiled whispering. "If you don't want me to fucking snap this leg like a twig, put it away." Her expensive sneaker lightly kicking his foot, a fake smile that gave the surrounding guys shivers.

Taking her seat without a care in the world and pulling out her books and stationary that she needed.

Mr. Guang occasionally looking at Xiao Zhi's concentrated face with uncertainty, Xiao Tian still resting his head on the table pretending to sleep.

When reality Zhu Hua was glazed over, reality sunk in as she realised that she was pretending to be her older brother at an all boys school.

Jaw stiffening as she heard the teacher calling out her new identities name repeatedly, "Xiao Zhi come and answer this question."

Glancing in front of her a little out of it, the teacher handed her a piece of chalk as she didn't even think about it. Nonchalantly writing out the answer that came to her, a gloomy-frustrated look on his face.

Placing the chalk on to the board and sitting back down, pulling out a bottle of water. Coughing furiously and almost spewing what was in her mouth.

'Who does Algebra at this level in high school?!'

"Xiao Zhi meet me once classes are finished." His lips twitching, a little gleam of anticipation in his eyes.

"Yes sir." Biting her lip, glaring at the teacher hatefully.

Choosing to rest her head on the table for the rest of class. Surprised that the guy next to her hasn't done anything to her.

'This teacher... Double period of maths every two days? Ugh.'

The bell rung for break as rubbed her eyes under her glasses. Xiao Tian staring at her cautiously,

"Your not actually a dumb nerd are you?" , swiping a hand over his face.

"Why? Can't a dumb nerd defend himself?" Tapping away the desk bored.

"I don't like attention." Finding it convenient that the other guys were scared of her desk mate, not to go up and cause shit with her.

Laughing into her face, a little baffled by his response. She moved her head away, clenching her jaw.

"Your hairs blonde- what Chinese has naturally blonde hair?" Relishing in his despair.

"Teach me to skateboard."

"Tell everyone to leave me alone?"

"There's a sticky guy in the first class that I can't do nothing about, but he only talks to his friends." Leaning a hand on his face.

"Name?" Not really interested.

"Wang Bo Huai"

'Demon king-What the hell is that?'

A little smirk on her lips, raising her small fist.

"Deal." A fist bump to seal the deal.
