8: Battle Training (II)

Then came our turn

"HEROES GET READY!!!" I hear All Might shout from the speakers.

"So, first things first, what is your quirk, Momo-san?" I question my partner. I already know, but it would be unnatural to know her quirk without asking her.

"Creation: Using the lipids in my body, I can create non-living things. But to create them, I need to understand the structure of the object." She answered.

"I see. My quirk allows me to affect things through touch and speech" I reply while getting the tiny metal stick from my utility belt. "Enlarge" "Elongate".

She said with understanding, "I see... Do you have a plan, Takumi-san?"

"I do. But do you know what their quirks are?"

"Yes. While we were watching the others, I asked them. Jiro- Earphone Jack and Kaminari- Electrification" she replied.

...

After a few minutes of Momo explaining their quirks to me, I hear All Might scream "ALL RIGHTO, HEROES, YOU MAY NOW COME IN!!!"

After that, I touch our boots and "Silence... Get ready Momo-san." I say as I take the walkie-talkie she made.

She nods, "Yes, Takumi-san" and gets ready to make a 100mm thick insulation sheet.

I go out of the room and into the hallway. I touch the floor and,

"Liquify" a part of the floor turns into a liquid, though the difference is unnoticeable. "Adhere" and then we play the waiting game...

{Heroes Side}

"I heard their footsteps for a moment but they suddenly disappeared!" exclaimed Jiro.

"Hey, don't worry! I'm strong. Say, you wanna go out to get coffee with me once we win this?" asked Kaminari.

"No. Also, focus!" said Jiro.

"It looks like we're going to look for the Weapon Room, the hard way..." she added with a sigh.

"Kaminari-san, we need to split up."

"Okay, but are you going to go out with me?" asked Kaminari.

"I said, no!"

"Fine, but you're going to regret refusing me." he said with a grin while crossing his arms.

"Ugh." scoffed Jiro.

...

After a few minutes...

'Heh, she'll definitely go out with me once I beat that pretty boy!' thought Kaminari while daydreaming about Jiro kissing him. And in doing so, he doesn't notice the eyes that are watching him from above.

'Huh? I'm sinking? I can't move my feet!'

*Snap* The ground turns solid.

After that, all he heard was "Sleep" before it all turned black.

{Akira POV}

Well, that was easy... No offense to Jiro, but he was basically the only threat to me...

I felt like I was Spiderman for a moment there... How did I stick to the ceiling, you ask? Well, it was actually quite easy, I stuck my boots on the ceiling, then my staff and grabbed on to it.

After wrapping some tape around Kaminari's body, I take the walkie-talkie.

"Momo-san, Kaminari has been captured." I tell her.

"Noted, Takumi-san" she answered.

I take Kaminari to the Weapon Room and go back out the hallway. I *Snap* and my boots were un-silenced. I wanted Jiro to come here. After turning the ground liquid, I stuck to the ceiling once again.

...

After a few minutes, Jiro arrives. She walks silently, thinking she is being stealthy.

Once she is caught in my trap, *Snap* the ground turns into solid, I jump down and "Sleep".

After that, I hear a very loud voice,

"VILLAINS WIN!!!!!!!"

"You did it, Takumi-san." Momo says with a smile.

"Yes, I did. Also, you can call me Akira." I reply with a smile of my own.

"V-very well, Tak- Akira-san" she replies.

...

Once we got back in the room,

"You guys did it, kero"

"You guys were awesome!"

"Takumi-kun, what's your quirk?"

"Trapping them wasn't manly but you looked so cool!"

"Thank you, everyone. But I didn't do it alone." I reply. Well, I did defeat them alone, but Momo helped make the safety measures...

...

After the class, we change out of our costumes and go back to the classroom.

Cementoss was there waiting for us.

"You're here. Okay, now we can start with the class" he said, making many of my classmates groan.

...

He taught Modern Literature. But, it wasn't boring.

...

After the class, Midoriya walks in, and everybody greets him. But after realizing that his crush wasn't here, he asked us where he went.

He then ran after him and had a talk.

...

The day ends and I walk out of the school with Kirishima and Mina. Izuku, Ochako, and Iida are also walking behind us but they're having their own conversation...

"So bro, how did you get a lean body?" asked Kirishima.

I reply, "I just followed the training regime of my Judo instructor..."

"Eh? You know Judo, Takumi-kun?" asked Mina, shocked.

"Well, yes. My instructor is actually a retired hero. He was quite famous for his passion for Judo, actually." I state, with a warm smile on my face as I reminisce on the past.

...

"Well, this is where we part ways. See you tomorrow, Kirishima, Mina." I tell them.

"Yeah. Bye, Taku-bro!" shouted Kirishima.

"Bye-bye, Takumi-kun!" Mina says with a wave.

...

I arrive at my home. I greet my mother and tell her about my first day in U.A.
