Chapter Two (Deku's POV)

This new kid was impressive. Their quirk was one of the strongest I'd ever seen. I pulled out my notebook and started taking notes as soon as they started talking.

"Any questions?" They asked

My hand shot in the air. They nodded towards me.

"You mentioned conditions to your quirk. What are they?"

"I don't normally tell people. It kinda defeats the purpose. Plus it makes me seem more mysterious."

They definitely were mysterious. The way they shapeshifted was so cool and it was nearly seamless. A perfect change. Their clothes even managed to shift from their rumpled form to match whoever they were copying. I was deep in thought when I felt something hit me from behind.

"Shut up nerd," Kacchan said. (A/N They don't have assigned seats in my story.)

I realized I'd been muttering to myself per usual.

"That's a habit of yours isn't it?" Artemis asked

I nodded, blushing slightly, it was a really bad habit I was trying to break. Aizawa cut them off before they could say anything else.

"We're training outside today." he announced "Just go do whatever you want as long as you don't destroy the school."

He grabbed his sleeping bag from under his desk and fell asleep.
