Fight for What You Believe In

Frozen, Solid Snake felt completely frozen, paralyzed by reality. He gazed at Big Boss as he was still wearing the same outfit he wore earlier. Snake tried to look into him not wanting his hero to be the one he's looking at but unfortunately he had to accept it. Thousands of questions raced through Solid Snake's head and his heart sank like it never before. Big Boss stood in front of his cult of mercenaries who all were screaming his name, gave a grin and spread his arms wide to just soak in the glory, the admiration, he was their God, their savior and he loved it all. He then turned his attention to the young rookie who was horrified by what he was seeing,

"Solid Snake…" called Big Boss,

"You have arrived, I did not expect you to make it this far but you have not failed to impress me." he continued,

"What are you doing?! Why are you inside that thing, Big Boss?!" shouted Fox, Big Boss chuckled lightly,

"Oh Gray Fox, always such a loyal soldier, don't you see where we are? This is our home, our heaven and our hell. We've forsaken our countries, stripped ourselves away from what they categorized us and became one with our world. I really have to say thank you, Dr Madnar, without your help, none of this would be possible." Big Boss explained.

"Did Ishmael get to you?!" Steel Eagle shouted which made Big Boss just laugh, even the mercenaries laughed at him.

"Oh you idiot, always wasn't the brightest. I am Ishmael, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the destroyer and creator. I am Big Boss, and I am the seal breaker, and tonight, none of you will make it out alive!" shouted Big Boss as he got back in the Metal Gear. The mech began starting up and turning on, the group all began stepping back, all but Solid Snake. The mercenaries were madly chanting as the Metal Gear was stepping forward,

"PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR NONE WILL SURVIVE THE METAL GEARRRRRR!!!!!!" cried out Big Boss as he began shooting the Metal Gear's Vulcan Gun, Gray Fox maneuvered himself in front of the group and began slicing the bullets.

"SPREAD OUT! DIVERT HIS ATTENTION!" Ordered Gray Fox, the others listened and began moving around while shooting their guns at the TX-55. Big Boss then began moving the Metal Gear slowly towards Solid Snake who was still in disbelief. Fox saw this and knew he needed to act quickly, he sprinted towards Solid which Big Boss spotted. Big Boss locked on the laser cannon and fired at Gray Fox but Fox then sliced the laser in half with his blade. Big Boss then fired a couple of rockets at him then Gray Fox suddenly leapt towards one, then landed on a rocket and leapt to the other. He kept leaping off rocket after rocket, moving closer to Snake as the Metal Gear began lifting its foot, seconds away from stomping Solid Snake. Just in time, Fox launched himself towards Snake and tackled him out of the way right before the Metal Gear could stomp him, Fox quickly took Snake behind cover and looked him in the eye.

"Hey! Snap out of it, we need you out there!" Fox told him,

"I-I can't…he's Big Boss, we can't beat him…he knows everything and I feel so helpless…" Solid mumbled, Fox put a hand on his shoulder,

"Listen to me, Snake! We're not tools of the government or anyone else! Fighting was the only thing I was good at but at least I fought for what I believe in! Everything in this mission, you made it happen, you're the one that makes impossible possible so right now, get up and do it!" Fox told him. Snake looked back at him and then looked back at his comrades then looked at Fox, his scared face turned into a serious one,

"Get everyone away from here, I'll take this thing on." Snake told him,

"We'll take it on." Fox replied with a smile and held his hand out, Snake smiled back and held his hand,

"Let's do this!" Snake said as Fox got him up. Fox and Snake ran into the action, Snake took out his M72 LAW and got ready,

"BLACKBIRD, GET THEM OUT. WE'RE GOING TO STOP HIM FROM MOVING!" Ordered Fox, Blackbird nodded and tried getting everyone out. Big Boss saw this and fired his laser cannon at the group but it was intercepted by Gray Fox slicing it in half.

" Walking stabilizer….need to destroy the walking stabilizer! " thought Snake,

"FOX!" He shouted, Fox looked at him and with just a gaze, he figured out what he was going to do. The legendary Gray Fox assumed his stance and began dashing toward the Metal Gear head on, Snake ran up beside him. Big Boss grinned inside the Metal Gear and got himself ready for this battle,

"HAVE AT THEE, SOLID SNAKE!" shouted Big Boss as he began firing the Vulcan Gun, Fox ran in front of Snake and began slicing every bullet. Quickly, Solid Snake ran up Fox's back and leapt upward. The madman, Big Boss saw this and fired multiple missiles at Solid but the rookie landed on one of them then moved aside, using the rocket as a snowboard. Instantly, Solid took out his M1911 and began shooting the rockets then leapt high enough to go over the giant Metal Gear. Fox did a backflip and landed on the missile Solid Snake was on then aimed it for the camera sight and leapt off it. Meanwhile in mid air, Solid Snake fired the M72 LAW at the walking stabilizer, Fox caught Solid Snake in mid air then tossed him downward and landed beside him. The two then ran and jumped around the Metal Gear, Fox sliced the walking stabilizer then Snake placed a C4 onto it and both were back in front of him. Right before Big Boss can shoot, Solid pressed on the detonator to blow the C4 up, the explosion and damage caused the TX-55 to stumble backwards and land onto the building. The mercenaries all cried in horror as the Metal Gear crushed many of them. Fox turned around and saw that the others were escaping, then right there, the Metal Gear got up and began slowly walking towards them.

"LETS GO!" Shouted Fox, Snake nodded and both began running away,

"SNAAAAAAKKKKKEEEE!!!" screamed Big Boss,

"IT'S NOT OVER YET, SNAKE! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM ME!!" Big Boss shouted, he didn't care if the walking stabilizer was damaged, he wasn't going to let them escape. Big Boss pushed the levers forward, making the TX-55 sprint after Solid Snake and Gray Fox, the final battle was just beginning.
