Another side of East Shores High School

Bored in class, Beck glanced out the window blankly, zoning out of his thoughts about the situation he was having while his teacher talks about something he isn't paying attention to. Something about what they're going to do this year's class, knowing nobody cares about what the teacher had to say. He peeks around the class, to notice most of them are on their phone or asleep.

He pulled out his phone in the middle of class without his teacher seeing it, so he decided to test the unknown number, the same number he accidentally texted back in July, to hope this number still works.

Wednesday, September 6th

Beck B.:<[ Hey]

Send at 8:42 AM

Now I just had to wait till they reply, he thought, glancing back at the window once again. While he waited for the message, he changed the unknown name to something else.

Hm, let's see. What a perfect name I should give this person, Beck thought, looking at the unknown name on his phone. "Ah, I know," he finally said, after thinking of a perfect username for this person. He replaced the unknown name with something that no other wouldn't have, and he didn't care if it was funny to others, as long as it was the perfect name for him. He placed his phone on his desk, to listen to his teacher.

A few hours later

There were a few hours left of class, and Beck and his classmates had the rest of the hour on their phones or chatting with each other. Beck decided to pick up his phone from his desk, to check if the person texted him back. Surprisingly they did.

Beck chuckled at the text and waited until the class was over to say something back. He knew that this is going to be the only person he will probably talk to more every day till he figured out who this is. As for now, he let it slide to enjoy this stranger to chat with.
