The story is character and action driven, and the characters are well developed. The writing style is focused on the character's actions, without external minutiae slowing the story. As a result, the story flowed quickly and effortlessly, making it hard to put down. MERIDIAN’S curse has left her in a state all her own of amnesia. The once spirit guide can only recall her name and the two names of very important beings in her life. She is on Earth lost and afraid with only fragments to piece together her mysterious circumstance. Her realm’s leader, Warrick and his curse have taken the unimaginable from her and her hidden memory has the answers locked away from her. Her best friend Relic, the peacock of the realm flees for Earth to save Meridian only to find nearly a stranger. Tallulah, the psychic who has taken Meridian in calls in her connections from Salem. The Fairies have the answer to breaking the curse and it lies in finding Meridian’s twin flame and only the universe knows who that is. From Relic, to Aiden the boy on Earth whose name is one she can recall or Kieren her love crush she knew before her curse, could all be the answer. The catch is, there are far darker souls in the high demon court and the dark witches who have their own agenda. “All that is a separate matter. I will let Tallulah explain this to you,” Esmra said as she nodded to Tallulah.

“Yes, Raina, it is very complicated. I can hear spirits in my head sometimes when I do readings. Sometimes it is just messages. About a year ago, I did a reading, and I was contacted by some spirits in need of the fairy quartz. I didn’t understand, and I was afraid, so I sent them away. One of the guides said her name was Meridian. A year goes by and then she shows up on my doorstep lost and confused without any memory except her name and the names Aiden and Talon. She has also recently remembered the name Kieren. I have attempted to read her, and I can’t. It is like there is some kind of block on her, and we can’t seem to get any further. I came to Salem for Esmra’s help, and she brought us here.” Tallulah took a deep sigh after she explained. She looked to Meridian who was staring at the intriguing woman sitting behind the big desk.
