The scout team was confused when Sheryl’s voice came over the walkie-talkie.
“Hey, I think I’ve figured out the clue,” Sheryl said, making everyone around her and the scout team even more puzzled.
“The clue is it's deep and it's not still. The only thing around here that's deep and not still is water,” Sheryl explained. She added, “And it's red. Do you guys remember the lake where Bizen and Hamlyn got into that fight, and Hamlyn fell in, hurting himself?”
Everyone’s eyes widened in realization, and Hamlyn listened closely.
“So, that lake has Hamlyn’s blood, which makes it red, it's deep and not still. I’m sure there’s a stone hidden there,” Sheryl declared confidently.
Hamlyn’s eyes lit up with realization. “Exactly! You’re spot on, Sheryl,” he said, appearing confident.
“But we don’t remember where the lake is,” Sasha pointed out, a hint of uncertainty in her voice.
Sheryl smiled knowingly. “Hamond?” she called out with a confident tone.
