"It hurts..."
Oliver cried out, tears welling up as Eden’s grip tightened around his neck. Seeing the pain in Oliver's eyes, Eden immediately loosened his hold but didn’t let go completely. Oliver coughed, trying to steady his breath.
"Have you forgotten?" Oliver’s voice was strained but resolute. "That night, you’re the one who said you only wanted one night with me. I told you I loved someone else, and you said it didn’t matter."
Eden’s jaw clenched, his eyes closing in frustration. When he opened them, they were red with anger. The sight made Oliver's heart sink in fear.
"I haven't forgotten a thing," Eden growled, his voice dangerously low. "I remember everything I said... and everything you said." He suddenly pushed Oliver back, only to cup his face firmly in his hands.
Oliver tried to shove him away, but Eden held him still.
"And I remember," Eden whispered harshly, bringing his lips close to Oliver's ear, "exactly what you said... when I was inside you."
