Chapter 2 Accept Defeat

Anxin rolled her eyes. She loved competition since young.

'I dare, she replied shortly and was moved to the fighting arena. The Avatar Cold she was expecting was completely different from the one she was seeing.

He picked such a tiny character, is he really in Supreme Level now, Anxin asked herself in disbelief.

The fight began. Avatar Cold seems to be having fun swinging Anxin, Beauty Xin around the arena. Anxin winched. It was though she was the one feeling the pain.

She activated a fighting booster and got up again but in a second, she fell again. Anxin was shocked. She finally knew why Sheng Jin hated this character so much.

So annoying, she grumbled.

Comments flooded the comment section. Some express pity and grief for Beauty Xin while some scolded her. Anxin suddenly got strength from the scolding but was swing down the arena. The fight was intense for 45 mins. Avatar Cold finally gave her a chance to prove herself.

Meanwhile in a office, a drop dead gorgeous man was sitting in a dark leather chair. His attention was on both on a document and his phone. He is Shen Haoyun. A proficient business man who was known to be ruthless and heartless when dealing with business. He sneered and looked at his phone in disdain. This Beauty Xin was testing his patience. He then ended the game in one go.

Anxin was still in a daze at how quick the game ended. Avatar Cold appeared in front of her and killed her directly. She immediately saw that her ranking has reduced to Tier 5.

''Damn, his kill cost me that much, Anxin said cursing and swearing.

She immediately texted Avatar Cold.

"Can you take me as your disciple, after a month, we can have a battle again, Anxin said anxiously. Right, she was mad at him for trampling her dignity all over but she was marveled at the way he defeated her just now.

No response. Anxin was fuming in anger but she needed to learn his skills.

She asked again in a gentler but anxious tone, Can you take me as your disciple. I won't let anyone find out. After a month, we will become players again.

"What will I gain from it and you not disclosing it is to your own favour, He replied coldly. Stop disturbing me and accept defeat, Avatar Cold texted again. Anxin was furious.

Shifu, Anxin recorded making Shen Haoyun shift awkwardly.

He loved the way that voice sounded. Anxin recorded her words just now. Sheng Jin once told her her voice was alluring and enchanting so she decided to give it a try.

"If there is no reply, then I will take it that you accepted me, right, Shifu, Anxin said again and logged out immediately.

She didn't want to receive his big no again.

But she was sure he was just an ugly, greasy, old man. She cringe at how sweet her voice sounded just now.

Haoyun was still in a daze when he heard that sweet voice. He was drawn in as Anxin expected. A gentle knock appeared on the door distracting Haoyun from his thoughts.

A cold voice sounded,'Come in, Haoyun said and shifted his gaze to the file in front of him.

Yan Weizheng entered with his head lowered. This is your schedule. You have a meeting now, Secretary Yan said and met with his boss cold gaze. He was still enchanted by his boss beauty.

Okay, got it, he replied shortly.

Anxin got out of her room fully dressed. She looked like a teenager while she was 21 years. She styled her hair in a two ponytail style which made her look incredibly adorable. She was dressed in jeans and a top symbolising youth. She planned to eat out with her friend, Ran Ran.

She headed downstairs straight and was immediately stopped by Father Lin. "Where to, Father Lin asked impatiently.

"I will be eating out, Anxin said and walked out.

She was trying to adapt to her adopted daughter's character as soon as possible. Anxin took a cab to a five star restaurant called "Taste Great, she wondered why Ranran picked such a restaurant. She got down of the cab and walked into the restaurant to wait for her friend. She sighed when she walked in. She knew Ranran was applying makeup at the moment and ordered for a juice while waiting for her friend. A man walked in and immediately drew everyone attention. He was dangerously handsome but his gaze was cold, so cold and penetrating. Anxin shifted her gaze to Shen Haoyun and was in a daze for a while.

Why was he so handsome, Anxin thought .

Anxin could feel her face turned warm the moment the man looked at her. She was embarrassed and looked like she had been caught stealing. She turned her face away with a pout.

Shen Haoyun maintained his cold face and moved to his seat. Another guy entered though not as handsome as the other man but he looked handsome in those casual wear.

The waiter felt her eyes was pregnant from seeing too many beauties today. First was the lady, the man and another young man. Today was such a hit for her. Anxin eyes widened.

"Tang Fa, what is he doing here, she said and prayed silently but it seems her prayer was not answered and Tang Fa seems to have noticed her. He strode towards her with a cold face.

"Hi, Anxin, Tang Fa greeted, trying to sound polite.

No response.

"Answer me, Tang Fa said in between gritted teeth and grabbed Anxin hand strongly.

She had an extremely soft and baby skin so her hand was starting to turn red. Anxin began to struggle and Anxin limped to the chair as Tang Fa released her hand suddenly. His hand was around her neck. He was attempting to strangle her.

A cold voice was heard now, "Let her go.

Shen Haoyun voice could be heard.

"Why would the handsome hunk suddenly want to help her, Anxin asked lost in thought.
