ABCD (Any Body Can Dance)

After the first term of Oriana's high school life, she eagerly waited for the two weeks of the holiday break to have a rest and enjoy it. On the last day before her holiday starts, she was shocked when Mrs. Summer asked her to join a dance class. Even Mrs. Horus and Mrs. Summer decided to sign up both Eleo and Oriana at the same dance academy. At first, Oriana disagreed to attend the class as she had plans for her holidays but her mother convinced her to attend the class for only an hour to give it a try. Her mother also said that she could withdraw from the class if she dislikes it. This was said to Eleo as well and he agreed to his mother.

On Sunday, both Eleo and Oriana went to the class together. Before entering the car, Oriana greeted Eleo but during their journey to the dance class both of them did not speak to each other. They met Miss Fiona, the instructor of Fiona's Dance Studio for Ballroom and Latin Dance Lessons. She told them that their parents registered them under a basic dance course. As for first-class, Miss Fiona demonstrated the type of dances they would be learning in the future lessons, and also she started to teach their first lesson. Miss Fiona taught them waltz dance by pairing each one with a dancer from that academy. She asked Eleo and Oriana to stand facing each other with Eleo holding Oriana's shoulder and waist. Both their faces blushed due to shyness and they felt awkward at the same time. They could not look into each other's eyes and only danced as taught by their instructor.

An hour passed by like a minute. Miss Fiona ended the class and she applauded them for following her instructions very well. She asked them to talk to their parents about the class and decide whether they want to extend it or end it. She also requested them to keep her updated regarding the matter. Both of them thanked her and walked towards the car parking lot.

While walking, Eleo asked Oriana, "What do you think about this class? Do you want to continue it?"

Oriana who was not paying attention, flustered "Sorry, what did you say just now? I wasn't listening to you."

Eleo repeated his question.

Oriana replied while tucking her hair behind the ears, "Oh, I think it won't be much of a hassle for me if I join this class. I can still enjoy my holiday with little adjustment."

Eleo just stared at her the whole time when she was talking and he almost stumbled by a rock. Once they reached the car, Eleo opened the door for Oriana, and then he sat next to her. Again they remained silent throughout their journey. Once they reached Oriana's house, she said, "Goodbye, Eleo." The car left while she waved at Eleo. Oriana went inside the house hopping joyfully with a smile of relief. Her mom, who was waiting for her at the door, just smiled at her and thought in her mind that Oriana had had a pleasant day. Both of them went inside their house while chatting about what happened in the dance class.

During dinner, Mr. Summer joined his family despite his busy work schedule. His wife told him about Oriana's dance class and that she was eager to attend the coming class as well. Mr. Summer listening to this news was very delighted and said "So, Oriana next time you can join the business parties with your mom and me. " Oriana replied, "I will only join if dad is willing to practice the dance with me during our free time. Is it okay, dad?" Mr. Summer laughed wholeheartedly and responded, "Sure, my darling, and make sure your mom joins us too." Oriana nodded and they started to enjoy their Sunday gathering.

On the other hand, Mr. Horus was unable to return as he traveled for business dealing. Consequently, Eleo had dinner with his mom and his brother, Adrian. They conversed about Eleo's dance class and he also expressed his interest to join further dance classes. His mother was grateful to hear his interest in the class and mentioned perhaps Adrian may join such classes in the future. Adrian responded, "Mom! No way… I want to play games and have fun." Both Eleo and his mom giggled as they just wanted to tease Adrian.
