chapter 21: engagements party

Matilda slowly blink her leash continuously as she lay on the bed asleep.

The ray the sun slightly peek from the close curtain in the room from the window, making her aware that it was morning without looking at the alarm clock close to her bed.

without wanting to be disturbed by the reflection of the lights Matilda turn to the other side of the bed.

Not long after that she heard in lights knock on her door.

"come in c." Matilda said.

"Good morning baby." Teddy greet is daughter.

"Good morning Dad." Matilda greets back.

" I came to remind you that your engagement party is tonight."

he said.

" I know Dad." Matilda reply.

"baby I'm sorry and if you think this marriage is not going to work out just let me know I will plead the Williams family to call of the engagement.Even if it cause the company going bankrupt."tadd said.

"Dad it's okay you do not need to ask the William to call of the engagements or pull out yet investments."Matilda said.

" Then why do younot want to a wedding party." Tadd asked cufused.

" That's because the weddcing is not about love ." Matilda reply.

"okay Dear I understand."tadd said.

" I'm going to miss you lot baby girl. Tadd added.

"I'm going to miss you to but I'm getting married not, die so whenever you miss me call me.

and I'm going to come home when I feel like I miss home.
