Romie's POV

I turned away, I just couldn't. I was so close a part of me wanted it, a huge part of me but I just couldn't.

"Ehm" Zane cleared his throat then helped me stand up. I stood awkwardly not meeting him in the eye, scared of what emotion I might find.

"Look Romie I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable" he began speaking but I stopped him.

"No no it's fine I should head back" I asserted without waiting for a response I turned around then left, the moment I stepped out of his view I felt my heart palpitating.

What the hell was that about!

I didn't have time to register the emotions that passed through me when I saw a guard point in my direction.
