Chapter 170 HIS BLOOD TO WOLFSBANE

SUZIE’S POV

At the rise of dawn, everyone had left their tents and had already begun packing up every item, and clearing up the entire space we resided in. I left our tent last, already fully dressed in the soldier attire, but this time I did not have the wig, or make up on.

My mates had decided that it was a bad idea for me to remain in a disguise, because of the incident that arise last night, and I agreed with them. My only regret was leaving Carl all alone.

Once I got out of the tent, my eyes began to scan the entire space, in search of Carl. I look through the female soldiers that were busy carrying and loading the items back into the carriage, until I spotted the family black hair.

It was Carl.

He had joined the female soldiers and helped carry more heavy items. I walked up to him, making sure that my mates were not looking at me. They were deep in conversation with someone of the soldiers and were instructing people on what to carry.
