Finding out the truth

Ryder concentrated on his driving as he answered Evena.

"First of all, the reason why I didn't call on you much before was because I knew you were busy. You have a lot of duties and I don't want to disturb you because you are my friend. Why I call you often now is because I need your help, I guess you can say my fight with Jayden contributed to it. Previously I used to confide in him but now things aren't the same between us anymore so I confide in you instead. I am sorry if I ever made you feel neglected in the past."

"I know Jayden is your best friend but back then I always felt like a third wheel anytime we were all together. I hope you never treat me that way again. I am busy, that's true but any time you need me, I will always be there." Evena told him.

"I know Evena and I promise to always reach out to you more often."

"Good."

"are you happy now?" Ryder asked.
