"I have mentioned the first statement, you come, you get killed." He clicks his tongue.

"What next? Can we have a look instead?" Sophia says, and jerks the diary from his hands.

"Don't use violence on vampires, you'll only get hurt."

"But you used violence on those vampires. Didn't you?"

"They are humans and not vampires."

"They are vampires, not humans."

"How?" I ask Sophia.

"We will get to know that." She replies. "How do humans mind link vampires?"

"Can we hear that, dear mate?" I roll my eyes at Ben and he starts to stutter.

"Aah..." He scratches the back of his neck. "Aah, you can't understand."

"Ben." Sophia says, solidly. And she then stands up.

"I, Sophia O'Connell reject you as my mate." She says, and spits at him.

"Sophia!" I yell at her.

"Don't call me." She says, and walks out, throwing the diary at Ben. It hits his forehead and he sighs.

"Tell me, what just happened?" I ask him and he frowns.
