"So who is this Lady that wants to be my agent?" I asked Ella with a slight frown on my face not sure why I was entertaining this meeting. We are currently in a conference room just waiting for her aunt to arrive.

First Day Out blew up like no one had expected with youTube alone having reached 1.2 million views today. Spotify was even more exaggerated having 2.4 million streams and all other major listening platforms have similar numbers. Just yesterday I signed the contract with Tommy and today I'm going to sign an agent.

When Rex and Ella realised just how much the song was blowing up they immediately made me sort out the business side of it. Rex didn't want me to sign for a label so he made me establish one in Wyoming. Why there? It's simply for tax reasons, something I never thought I'd find myself saying in this life. So I went from being fresh out of Juvie to being the CEO of my own Label called Empire Inc.

I wouldn't be CEO for long as Ella is going to help me hire a business manager proficient in the music industry. If you ask me this all seems cumbersome but if all this leads to me getting to tour the world while making boatloads of money then I don't mind.

"She is my aunt, but don't worry she is extremely good at her job" She responded bringing me out of my musing of the hectic few days I've had. Although I was supposed to start school on Thursday things got too real too fast forcing me to focus on my career first.

"Although she mostly focuses on actors and models she has been searching for a good enough artist to be her flagship for the music industry." She clarified explaining to me how fierce the competition for resources is in the media group that her mother's family runs.

The Talent agency is just one part of it as they employ hundreds of agents. Each of the agents has to bring in their own clients and would gain more resources depending on their client's achievements and the revenue they brought in. Usually, agents would focus on one sector but those who have established themselves start diversifying their roster.

This is exactly the case for Ella's aunt who has already gained good enough of a foothold in fashion and showbiz. Thinking of it this way it makes sense why she would gamble at signing me in order to step into the music scene. After all, no one expected First Day Out to reach 1.2 million views on YouTube in just 7 days.

Before I had time to think further a feminine voice interrupted me catching my attention. "Hello, Sorry to keep you waiting," She was a beautiful woman dressed in a neat beige suit. Although she was wearing matching suit pants it did not hide her beauty as it showcased her long legs.

"No worries we just got here ourselves," Ella replied with a smile lying so naturally as if the past 20 minutes were non-existent. "hello," Ignoring the white lie I greeted the woman with a smile standing up and shaking hands with her.

"Shall we get right to it?" She stated with a smile directly assuming a business-style demeanour wanting to directly get to business. She directly pulled out a stack of files placing them on the table for us to look over, mainly Ella since she is the lawyer.

"I'm not sure if my niece told you but my name is Chole, I am an S-tier agent for SkyMedia, I rose up the ranks managing up-and-coming models and actors," She stated with a confidant smile outlined how she had scouted her first actor when she was 25. Although that actor wasn't the best looking he had an immense passion for acting and a pinch of talent.

They worked together helping him get some minor TV roles and Broadway gigs. Her effort paid off as he managed to improve rapidly and establish himself as a popular name in the TV world. However, she really made her name in the Modelling world by signing young and aspiring girls and sponsoring their training.

She has got quite a roster of successful models both male and female who are brand ambassadors for brands. Her more popular models walk runways throughout the world in fashion shows with some even having cameos in movies. One of her artists that stood out for me is Omari Hardwick who got his break 3 years ago when the show Power aired.

When I found this out I was slightly tempted since that is one of the few shows we watched in the hood. It realistically depicts the life in the game from its lows and highs. If I get to meet Gohst in real life I would gladly sign with her.

"I know what I can do for you but before that, I want to know where you see your career going," She asked me after spending a while introducing herself to me and some of her clients and achievements.

"I want to sell out a world tour in 3 years, I gonna be an Icon for my city, and I want to be the most successful rapper in both wealth and influence," I seriously told her making direct eye contact to make sure she knew I wasn't joking. Her reaction to my words was priceless as I quite literally saw the gears in her head short circuit for a second.

"Are you serious?" She asked me with a baffled expression seemingly not believing my words to be true. I understood why she doubted my words since my goals are seemingly outrageous for someone who's barely dipped his toes into the music world.

"I guess working with someone with ambition is for the best, especially in this industry," She told me with a confident smile as pulled out her laptop and connected it to the monitor on the wall. She pulled up a PowerPoint presentation aimed at showing me her plans for my future if I were to sign her.

"In my first year as your agent, I will focus on spreading your awareness through interviews, show gigs, and some small brand deals," She started off by explaining how she plans on building on the traction that I gained through First Day Out. Booking me into some minor shows and appearances at radio shows is one of her plans.

Her second step is for me to utilise my good looks to model for some of the clothing brands she has connections with. I wouldn't walk a runway or anything but my face would appear in magazines and online websites. Her plan is quite solid providing me with a solid springboard to fester my name in the industry.

"Since I plan on making you my flagship for music I will use most of my resources to push you but the prerequisite is that you deliver on the music end." She finished off her explaining how she plans to develop my career in my first year with her.

"Talent is the only thing I can't help you with," She stated with a smile retaking her seat in front of me seemingly waiting for me to respond. It took me a moment to gather my thoughts fully taking in her words and what it meant for me.

"I don't know if I'm talented, but I've got enough heart for the life that I chose, here is what I've been working on,"
