Teaching the Elites a Lesson

When the ancestor of the Hal Family had left the area, the people of the group took a good look at their new leader, trying to find what made him so special to be treated with respect by a Genesis Source expert.

 To their slight disappointment, the new leader was someone at the 1st Stage Genesis Core, whereas the expert that had reached the Genesis Core in the group had at least reached the 7th Stage, with one even reaching the peak of the Genesis Core.

 "Alright, let-" "Hold up!" Ryker was stopped by one of the Genesis Core experts. "Why should we listen to someone weaker than us?!" the one that stopped his speech asked.

 Behind him, the rest of the group supported him, "Yeah, someone strong should lead this group!"

 "True! Big brother should lead the group!"

 "Why should we listen to someone who gets put in this group from his connection?!" 

 The voices keep on rising until Ryker unleashes his aura, overwhelming them in an instant. "If you think I'm not strong enough, then let have a light spare, tomorrow as no doubt some of you are tired," 

 Hearing his words, the Genesis Core experts looked at each other before agreeing to the challenge, "Yes, we accept," the strongest of the group said.

 "Good, then get ready. Tomorrow, we will have our spar," as he said it, he left the group. As he left, he could hear several derisive talk about him,

 "I beat he wants to postpone his defeat, that's why he asked to delay the fight,"

 "No doubt he would ask for the ancestor to help him,"

 "Someone like him shouldn't be the one to lead us,"

 "He must have seduced someone important to the Great Families to be able to be put in this group,"

 A vein formed on his forehead. While he planned to showcase his true power, a part of him wished to cause some accidents to happen during the fight. Namely, he unleashed such a strong attack that it hit and sent those Genesis Foundation experts flying, along with some of the Genesis Core experts.

 "Oh, I'm going to enjoy tomorrow,"

 The very next morning, Ryker had already waited at the training field. Their current location was near the barony though slightly hidden behind a large mountain range. This would give them the ability to spar without warning the others about their presence.

 He waited for 20 minutes until the other members of the group soon came in drove. Seeing him already arrived caused them to be shocked but they quickly took the chance to insult him.

 "He must not want to be beaten up for being too late,"

 "Huh, he must want to end this fight soon,"

 While the statement was correct, the one who said it must assume he would be the one to be defeated. As the insults were continuously thrown towards him, the peak Genesis Core expert quickly entered the field.

 He readied his stance, with one of the Genesis Core experts ready to become the referee. When he was about to start the match, Ryker stopped him, "No, you get in here," the peak Genesis Core expert looked where Ryker pointed, frowning when he saw the second weakest Genesis Core expert was the one to be pointed at.

 "Hah! He wants to fight the weakest person after himself,"

 "He was supposed to be our leader but he took the weakest possible opponent."

 "Like I said yesterday, he must become the leader through nepotism,"

 The strongest of the group was about to exit the field when Ryker said, "Who told you to get out?" his question caused the others to look at him in surprise.

 "But you said I sh-" "I said you should enter the field with him. In fact, the rest of the Genesis Core experts, enter the field now, we going to do one against many, all of you against me. In fact, if the Genesis Foundation expert one to do their job as this group cannon fodder, they could join in as well," 

 Hearing how he talks about them being cannon fodder lit a fuse on all of the Genesis Foundation experts. 

 "Big talk from someone about to be beaten to a pulp,"

 "I will join in! Even if I don't stand a chance, at least I got a chance to beat this arrogant bastard too,"

 "Today is the day we beat up a Genesis Core expert!"

 Ryker pretends to not care for their words. After all, he would be given the pleasure of beating this group to a bloody pulp.

 The entirety of the group soon formed up, ready to fight the person who was supposed to be their leader. Even with the group of elites, he still looked not worried, as he was staring at a bunch of children rather than a group of experts.

 Because there would be no referee due to all of them getting involved in the spar, one of the experts had asked for a friend to become the referee. Said friend realized who they were fighting, and so prayed for his friend's wellbeing, as he would definitely not escape the coming beating, especially with how some of them keep throwing insults.

 He even thought to himself, 'Should I buy a grave for each one of those poor sods?'

 When the referee started the spar, the weakest Genesis Core expert flew towards Ryker. Seeing how Ryker didn't move, he believed the young man was too frightened to even run away. This misconception continued until Ryker landed a blow on his stomach, sending him flying away.

At the sight of a Genesis Core expert being sent flying, the group quickly changed the assessment they had of their leader. Seeing how one of their own, a person who should be stronger than their lesser being sent flying, the other 9 Genesis Core expert make their move together.

 They unleashed their full strength together, completely forgetting this was a mere spar. However, to their shock, Ryker remained unscathed, the qi barrier he created remained strong despite the overwhelming attack.

 Ryker cast a disinterested look before he disappeared from their sight, before appearing in front of the strongest expert. He grabbed him by the face before slamming him to the ground, knocking him out with one shot.

 The others barely realized the danger they were in when Ryker changed his target towards them, the smile he gave caused a great terror to flood their heart.

 While the Genesis Core was being shown the meaning of a beatdown, the Genesis Foundation elites could only watch as their leader, the one that should be the weakest in terms of cultivation realm, currently showing the other Genesis Core expert what is the ground.

 When he was done with that particular lesson, he turned his attention to the Genesis Foundation experts, making them feel great fear for their health.

 "Someone strong should not beat someone weak, right?"

 "Yeah, it not proper for a Genesis Core expert to spar and best a Genesis Foundation expert,"

 "I agree leader, maybe you should let us go,"

 "A spar, when is this a spar?" his question made them feel their blood went cold, "This is just a training session where the leader beat up his disobedient subordinates. Now line up or the beating will be extra hard,"
