 Not long after he left the tree trunks, the group from before arrived, their bodies covered with wounds.

 "Blast it, how is there a Giant Tiger here?" the leader cursed. Giant Tiger is a species of powerful Genesis Beast, capable of killing foes that are much stronger than them in terms of cultivation realm.

 Not to mention, if it gathered enough energy, it could evolve into Spirit Giant Tiger, a powerful Spirit Beast. Fortunately for the group, they only met with a Giant Tiger. Unfortunately for the group, they met with a Giant Tiger at the Peak of Tier 9.

 "Yeah right, let's run away then," as they flee once more, the group could have not imagined that it was all because of Ryker. When he put the carcasses to attract the Blood Vultures, he was spotted by the Giant Tiger, who did not make a move on the account the human dropped tons of carcasses.

 While the two clans have a go at one another, they do not pay any heed to the carcasses, instead focusing more on the battle.

 This allows the tiger to steel the carcasses right under their noses. When Ryker takes the bodies of the Blood Vultures and Bone Devouring Hyena, the tiger lets him as while she is not a picky eater, it prefers to eat something else than the two scavengers.

 As the Giant Tiger eats the carcasses, the group finds its den and the cub when the mother is too busy feeding with the carcasses Ryker used as bait. 

 This resulted in one greedy member taking the risk of cubnapping the Giant Tiger's offspring, resulting in the creatures hunting the rest of the group for sport.

 Ryker ran through the path. Most people do the same thing or fly below the treeline, as flying above the treeline is a special form of suicide. After all, the tree prevented beasts from seeing the cultivators, forcing them to rely on their sense of smell and hearing. 

 If they leave the cover of the trees, a group of flying beasts will target them in an instant. As he was busy running the currently empty path, he heard a loud stomp, like a herd of elephants stampeding.

 He turned to spot the group he managed to flee from before just behind him. He was ready to run away when they ran past him. 

 Shocked stupid by their action, he soon heard a roar, one he recognized as belonging to one of the apex predators of the Agarsi Forest.

 "Giant Tiger," he said to himself, ready to flee when the creature jumped in front of him. Subconsciously, he activated the Celestial Body, his strong body capable of deterring the creatures.

 Yet, instead of attacking him, the creatures observed him, looking at him like they recognized him. He took a step back when the creature pounced on him.

 Instantly, he found himself on his back, the Giant Tiger loomed over him. He prepared himself, ready to escape when the tiger inevitably clawed at him when it licked him!
