Auction Began

  "Why does Era blush when she looks at us?" Ryker asked Ina, who merely shrugged. In fact, she knew the reason, after all, she was the one to put the marble inside Ina's new clothes.

  The marble was something she bought using her mission rewards. It has the ability to transmit video of what its pair see. Though, it comes at a time limit of 3 hours. Still, she fainted in the three-hour period so it really didn't matter.

  'If things go smoothly, I can get Era to be a part of the harem,' she thought. While she wanted to be the sole owner of Ryker's heart, she knew she couldn't handle his stamina and he might still have the urge to do it. It was better for him to have more women, for both their sake, his desire, and her hips.

  "Still, we get a lot from yesterday's mission," she said out loud, remembering how Ryker took another A-rank mission, while she took some hard D-rank ones. Because of his strength, Ryker easily finished him, hunting down a 2nd Stage Genesis Beast, one at the later stage, possessing strength equal to an 8th Stage Genesis Formation expert.

  Meanwhile, she took on several 6th Stage Genesis Gathering bandits that camped close to the city. They split up and when he was done, she was still busy dealing with them. Ryker took the time to scour for herbs and spirit fruits while she dealt with them.

  After finishing the mission, the two looked around the area, finding more resources useful for them. That's the reason why they returned so late, the mission had been something that they both could finish in 1 hour provided they knew where the target was.

  "Tomorrow is the day for the auction, right? Where will it be held again?" Ina asked, remembering the fact that Ryker had put up several items in the auction. 

  "Apparently they have a dedicated auction house, a few blocks left of their store." he reminded her, the young woman slamming her first to her palm.

  "The big building right, a lot bigger than the store itself," 

  "Yes, that's the one," he confirmed it.

  "In that case, the children would be left with Era, then. We better leave some extra money, the auction is supposed to last for a long time," Ina mumbled to herself.

  "Well, it's tomorrow anyway, let's take the day off and spend some time with the kids. We should spend the entire day going out, exploring other parts of the city," he suggested, Ina nodding in agreement.

  When they told the kids about the plan, they were overjoyed while Era looked at them with a smile before blushing, Ina letting out a knowing smile. She would ask her about joining her with Ryker later. Now, is the time to have some fun.

  "We'll be off. Era, just remained inside the inn for today, they will be more unscrupulous people today," he warned her, the servant nodded, as the couple left the room.

  It took them some time but they reached the auction house, one of the guards stopping them. "This is the path to the second-grade private rooms. Please show us your tokens or we will deny you entry,"

  Ryker handed out the token, something the store manager had given him when he asked how to join in the auction. The man told him because he put so many items into the auction, he was given the privilege of having two token entries instead of one.

  Upon seeing the two tokens, the guard nodded before letting them through. The two walked into the auction house before a servant came and greeted them, before asking to see their tokens. After seeing their tokens, the servant showed them their room before asking them if they wished for any snacks while they waited.

  The two agreed it would likely take another half an hour before the auction officially starts so some refreshments would be appreciated.

  As they waited for both the snacks and auction to start, Ryker looked at their room. He could sense the room had a formation carved onto it. He decided to check the nearby rooms, sensing the other rooms had the same formations before realizing that the formations in the rooms were a part of a bigger one.

  'So, the formation in the room is a concealing one, so the bidders could keep their anonymity. The formation was likely powered by the big formation, because while the formation could help protect the identity of the bidder, if someone strong enough tried to pry into the room, they could easily pass through the formation,' he concluded.

  He could only be awed by the person who created the formation, likely a Formation Specialist at the 4th major realm of Genesis Grand realm. He decided to look around the formation, seeing if he could learn something from it.

As time passed and he slowly began to understand a part of the formation, the auction stage lit up, before a beautiful woman entered the spotlight, wearing a red dress that split up to her thigh, showing her white legs. Her dress also opened at her breast, giving the audience a look at her cleavage.

She gave the auction's participants a bright smile. "Thank you everyone for joining today's auction. Recently, the auction house has been receiving a lot of high-quality items. So, everyone who joined the auction will not regret it. Without further a due," 

  The woman clapped her hand, and several servants brought in the first item. The item in question is a mushroom that glows with brown light, giving an intense Earth energy. 

  "This is a Cave Mushroom. Normally, a cave mushroom would only be a Genesis Grade 1 herb, but because of where it was from, the mushroom had become a Genesis Grade 2 herb," the audience murmured, clearly surprised to hear such a thing happen.

  "Our assessors had confirmed it reached Grade 2. But if you don't believe it, use your divine sense to clarify it." at that moment, several divine senses began looking into the herbs before retracting, the doubtful look disappeared.

  "This item is taken from Rock Valley, and yes, it is that Rock Valley. Because of the special environment there, the earth's energy inside it is 100 times more than the regular one. Any person who practices earth-based Cultivation Art would benefit from consuming this herb.

  The person who gathered the herbs had been lucky, escaping the treacherous place with only a little injury. But, his luck doesn't end there, as he not only gets one Cave Mushroom but 5 of them, each will be auctioned separately at the base price of 10 gold coins, so starting with 10 gold coins!"

  Soon, the bidding rose until it reached 30 gold coins, a slightly higher price compared to regular Genesis Grade 2 herb. Then again, it could help even Late-Stage Genesis Formation experts who practiced earth-based Cultivation Art, so they would definitely bid for it.

  "To think your items would be the one to be auctioned first," Ina commented, taking a seat on his lap despite there being empty seats in the room.

  "Well, compared to some of the things I took out, the Cave Mushroom cannot be compared to it," he shrugged. Besides, he had taken about 10 Genesis Grade 2 Cave Mushroom. Giving half to the store for auctioning while keeping the rest for himself. 

  He had taken 2 already, his mastery of the Primordial Earth Scripture increased slightly as he used it to refine the Earth energy, his mastery of the Law of Earth increased at the same time.

  "Yup, let us wait for the good stuff to show up. After all, I don't come here just to see my things being sold," he said hoping there would be things that be beneficial for him. Oh well, the auction just started after all.
