Master's rebirth in the Apocalypse

Since his creation, Camelia has been tasked with keeping an eye on the 'Seeds of Apocalypse.' These people could one day become the end of the world, and the only one with the power to stop them is Camelia, the Saint's creation. That was how Camelia became the teacher of these 'Seeds' Generation after Generation until he finally met his end at the hands of the Council that wanted to use these 'Seeds' for their good. But Camelia did not mind it. And why would he? After all, he had finally found peace after living for centuries. He was finally free. Little did he know that his death would leave such a big impact on his students. But peace was never an option for Camelia because after dying a gruesome death, he found himself opening his eyes once more. But this time, he was in the body of someone he had never met and living a life he had never met. Moreover, he was no longer a male but a powerless human female. He...no, she woke up in a time where a few centuries had passed, the world had changed into a place where Dungeons and powers were no longer a well-guarded secret, and the 'seeds of the Apocalypse.' she had tried to keep under control had already become the leaders of this world. At such a time, what was Camelia to do? The answer was simple—pretend she did not know anything and finally live a carefree life. Unfortunately, not everyone seemed as on board with her idea as she was. Especially not her familiar-looking man who called himself her fiance. She needed to discover why this man felt familiar, had the power of the Apocalypse inside him, and was so obsessed with Camelia. __________ Note: There will be a lot of sex, and the relationship will be a little Dom/Sub kind

Ch 17: The Doctor's Advice - part 2

The doctor looked like she would puke if she took in more energy, and Camelia's sign was to pull back. But just as she tried to pull back, she realized a spell kept her in place.

Camelia could break this spell but did not know what it would do.

That's why she first tried to slow down the energy flow before slowly cutting it off. Camelia thought it would provide her enough time to brace the other female…. or so.

It was clear that Zayne had different thoughts compared to him.

He grabbed the doctor's arm and yanked it away from Camelia. It caused the doctor to gasp out loud as she suddenly felt a rush of energy rushing out of her body.

Finally, she felt calm and collected enough to think and look around.

"Hey, are you alright? All that energy-"

Camelia had always been softer toward females due to their weaker bulk but stronger emotional powers. That was when she felt compelled to ask this question.

But she did not get to finish her question because Zayne decided to interfere and grab the doctor by her shoulder.

"What do you think you were doing? Do you think I am a fool or something? I noticed the way you increased the power. It's good I was here, or you would have blown up this place."

There was no finesse or sympathy in Zayne's eyes or words as he spoke these words. He was accusing the doctor, but he had no intention of hiding it.

Seeing him like this made even Camelia go quiet. She had seen Zayne this mad at her before, but never at someone else like this.

It felt a little…intimidating, especially when Zayne's energy spiked suddenly, causing all the machines to beep with overload.

'Shit! This is not good! I need to calm him down before something blows up. I hope the guiding works.'

Camelia grabbed Zayne's arm, took a deep breath, and let her powers loose. She could feel her magic reaching out to Zayne and calming him down.

"This is enough. Should I drag you away for a session before you calm down? Think of where you are and what you are doing."

Camelia reminded the male, and Zayne finally sighed before pulling back. He was lucky because he pulled back just in time for the cracks to start forming on the glass windows.

"I am calm. Sorry, I lost my cool back there for a second. We can continue now."

Zayne admitted once he took a deep breath before he looked at the pair in front of them.

The doctor still looked frozen, but she snapped herself out of her. Her eyes darted toward Camelia and Zayne a few times before she resigned and opened the panel on her computer.

"I took your energy readings, and I will analyze them later. For now, shall we move on to the next test? It will be a physical test, so I prepared a training chamber for us. Come, follow me."

The doctor stood up to show them the way. Camelia followed without missing a beat, but Zayne grabbed her hand to stop her.

"You don't have to do anything you don't want to, alright? If you feel like you are in danger, then run toward me. I will handle it for you."

Zayne promised, and Camelia felt that he meant every word. It made her feel much more secure to have Zayne there with her.

Still, Camelia did not need another person to take care of herself. She could take care of herself.

"It'll be fine. I know what I am doing. There is nothing that this doctor can throw at me that will kill me."

Camelia assured Zayne.

Sometimes, this man behaved so much like her own Zayne that it felt difficult to separate them in her mind. Then, this man said words like these, instantly making Camelia sober up and realize that this man was someone else and not the older brother she knew.

It made her mood juggle all the time, but Camelia quickly got used to it…or at least, she stopped showing it on her face.

*Sigh*

"Fine, do what you want to. But do call me when you feel like you are in trouble."

That was the last of what Zayne told Camelia before he disappeared inside the facility. She followed him quietly, now wondering what was in store for her.

...

"Here, take this. I want you to shoot down the targets you see in the training dome. You are not allowed to use any skill on the targets other than the shots fired by this gun. Good luck."

The doctor handed Camelia a gun, but it looked smaller and more compact than any other gun Camelia had seen before.

Guns were something that had only started to gain popularity in times before she died. As a result, Camelia was vaguely familiar with them.

But this one felt different. It had no unit to put bullets inside, and Camelia could feel spells woven all over this gun.

When she looked at her, this device felt more like an enchanted weapon than a gun.

"Camelia, you should try to shoot before you go down to face enemies. You need to push your magic in here, and the gun will automatically process it into raw energy and shoot it for you."

This gun had a structure that was far too complicated for something simple like blasting magic bullets.

Camelia could think of a hundred formulas to make this gun safer while amplifying the magic inside.

But she decided to keep quiet for now, not to insult the blacksmith who worked on this weapon. She could write her thesis later about this gun and its magic formula.

Camelia pushed the magic the gun demanded from her and fired it off, but she expected a disappointing outcome.

Not even half of the magic she put in this gun came out as a bullet. Most of it was lost inside the weapon and then dispersed as a part of the equation - a safety net. But one that had a lot of downsides to it.
