CHAPTER ONE: ENDING...

A figure ran down the forest hitting every branch he came across as he tried to hide from a chase. A shot was fired above the head of the figure hitting the tree to fall in front of him. The moon shone bright showing the boy's beaky nose and low-cut hair. 

"You can't run forever Ray" one of the figures spoke. He stood on top of a rock, firing an arrow at him.

"Target his leg, Liver" another person spoke, this time a girl later identified as Savannah.

He ran towards the road he saw three meters away. As he approached the centre of the road, a group of people around his age wearing black cloaks warped around their faces and circled him blocking him from moving forward. Slowly, he studied each of them as they were twelve. Each person was heavy-bodied with guns, knives, axes, and more stood ready to attack. Before he became steady, a quick kick to the back of the head of Ray from one attacker sends him to the ground. He rolled on the ground dragging the leg of Cory, falling him to the ground. From the left leg of Cory, he takes a knife stabbing it in one of the attackers' feet as he got up. He kept on stabbing until finally reaching the neck, giving it a quick slash. Another came forward, giving him no time to attack he uses one of the arrows attached to his back and stabbed the eye of the attacker one by one they died and he was down to the last six. He ran to the cathedral a few meters away and hid under one of the benches, ready to attack the main opposers. Liver walks forward and is ambushed by Ray who pulls a gun from the back pocket of Liver and shoots Cory on his right shoulder, but Liver slams the gun into the wall, and jars it from Ray hitting him with a blow that caused him to spit out blood. Ray dashes through a set of double doors and is tackled by Stout, who stabbed him on the shoulder once… twice… the two traded blows until Ray gets Stout in a headlock with his legs and breaks his neck. He rose to his feet as blood oozed out of his left shoulder. "Who's next?"

Savannah goes for the gun and is disabled by an elbow to the face. He dodges a spray from Sage , which riddles her. She comes behind Ray and gets a strike to the throat. Liver ignites his axes and screams in anger, rushing at Ray with a frenzy we have not seen before. But he trips on sage, stabbing her in the back literally with the head hitting the ground so hard. It came down to Cory and savannah. Without warning, Cory swung his axe directly in the face of Ray, which he immediately dodged. Again, Cory pounced and this time he twisted on his back and then used his elbow to strike him. Falling to the ground, Ray followed and continued putting pressure on the injured shoulder until Cory blacked out. He breathed a little heavier than before. But he could not stop until every last one of them was dead.
