chapter 2 ( FLASHBACK )

Marvel Universe, a system of multiverse in the omniverse. Not much is known about the higher beings residing in it.

I never understand the character of the original universe never interacted with the cinematic universe. I mean in the comic book universe it can be said it is not safe even for people with strength comparable to Captain America.

In that place, there is no specific hierarchy based on power. After the first 3 positions at the top, it is not clear who will win a fight and the top three positions are fixed as one of the people literally is the creator ( ONE ABOVE ALL) other 2 have power similar to the creator at a lower level ( BEYONDERS AND THE BEYONDER ).

First in comics living tribunal was said to be strongest acting as judge, jury and executioner on the behalf of one above all. But during the incursion timeline BEYONDERS kills Eternity, Infinity, Lord Chaos, Master Order, the In-Betweener, and even the Living Tribunal throughout all realities. And at the end BEYONDERS got destroyed by molecule man (who was converted into a bomb BY Dr doom).

Being a mob character is probably worse than being dead in marvel ( or any world with superhuman or magic or anything related to it exists). As a mob, you don't even know when you will die as shit happens every time around and all you could do is just watch. You can be dead at a moment due to a massive battle between heroes and villains and then magically called back from the afterlife by some weirdo in magician costume "COUGH" Dr strange "COUGH". So being a mob character trying to live a normal is a 'no no'.

If you are thinking about the Cinematic Universe, it's also the same we are just not exposed to all the shenanigans which take place at the cosmic level, cause neither the whole multiverse theory can be explained in movies nor all people can understand.

But there is a notable difference between MCU and earth 616 until now, It is a little bit safer if we go by what is shown in movies comparing them to comics.

So moral of the story is that if you are not the all-powerful creator of the marvel universe then you are or will be dead if you got yourselves under someone's radar. And MCU is a relatively safe option.

And to get enough power so that you can survive for some time you need one or more things like-

X-genes: Human mutants possess the X-Gene positioned on the 23rd chromosome (sexual chromosome).

The X-Gene activation leads to the production of an exotic protein. This protein produces chemical signals inducing mutations on other genes, ending up with mutant organisms, variously empowered.

These empowerments can as insignificant as 'being able to grow hair faster' to freaking reality manipulation.

But it has its fair share of trouble like "a majority of the population having an inferiority complex, while some of the mutants "COUGH" majority of them "COUGH" having superiority complex" creating a massive rift between them.

And if your parents aren't strong mutant then the chances of you having x-genes is minuscule and even you have x-genes and they got activated, you getting alpha level power is unlikely, Hell forget alpha level even gamma and delta level is hard.

[Beyond omega > omega > alpha > beta > gamma > delta > epsilon]

Experiments/superhuman serums: It's pretty obvious that making a superhuman serum or experiment that can turn someone into superhuman

requires genius-level intellect (equal or beyond scientists in our world) good grasp of genetic and whatnot.

So unless you are THE GEEK or willing to give yourselves to be a lab rat, you should stay away from this method.

Magic/ki/chi: safest one on the list, but that doesn't mean it's a walk in the park. You still need someone to teach you, which most transmigrators/reincarnators think is easy, all you have to do is go to 177A Baker Street in Greenwich Village, New York and just knock on the door and BAAM you are an apprentice wizard.

But you forget that you are a soul from a different world. Infinity stones don't work on you {well their power part work, not something related to your soul like your past or future, origin etc.}. Some would argue that, isn't good that they can't see it would make them take you seriously? [Well duh… more like seriously threatening].

You forget that even if they are the magical protectors of earth they are still human and humans have flaws. We don't like what we cannot understand or don't have control over.

So unless you want to potentially get trapped in the mirror dimension you should try something else.

Alien/celestial/magical artefacts: artefacts are basically power boosts, you get them ta-da you a superhuman.

Obviously, artefacts are extremely rare to come across, most of them are in possession of powerful being or in research facilities of big organisations who are either trying to harness their power or trying to recreate them.

And these objects are connected to other dimensions or celestial beings. Which either try to influence its bearer to mould them in their liking or completely try to take over their body.

There are only a few artefacts that are not connected to some being nor take over the bearer mind or body. For example, The Star Brand, in comics the star brand is most likely the most powerful weapon/artefact which give its bearer power of thoughts with no repercussions. Mean user can do whatever he/she wants if they can imagine it. A Star Brand user at a time faces the living tribunal, where she fought him for days without breaking a sweat. Scratch that Kevin Connor clapped avengers just shortly after getting star brand, he didn't even know his full power at that time. Its origin is not specified but we can say that is connected to superflow (the place between universes, it is where dream and ideas come from. It is the power source of telepathy. Superflow doesn't follow laws of physics).

Another similar artefact is the heart of the universe which is found at the centre of the existence of the marvel universe. It can basically make you a substitute for one above all. With only a minuscule amount of power, Akhenaten (earth 4321) got invulnerability, energy projection and telepathy. After wielding its power Thanos know about all events that had or will be happening. He can be present everywhere at any given time, past or future. He can effortlessly overpower all celestial beings at the same time (excluding one above all).
