13 spider Gwen

After a good night's sleep, Noah woke up and turned off the alarm clock.

After eating, he slung his backpack over his shoulder and set off for school on his car. Noah usually car to school when he didn't have other plans.

Once he arrived, Noah parked his Car and casually strolled towards his classroom.

"Hey! Noah, wait up!" Peter called from behind.

Noah turned to see Peter walking toward him with his backpack, accompanied by a young man.

Peter caught up and introduced them. "Noah, this is my friend Harry. He's in our class too, just got back from being abroad for a while."

"Harry, this is Noah. He transferred here this semester and is also a good friend of mine."

Noah smiled and extended his hand. "Hi, I'm Noah."

Harry shook his hand, smiling back. "Nice to meet you, I'm Harry Osborn."

With the introductions out of the way, the three of them headed to class together.

After their lively chat, they arrived at the classroom and took their seats. Noah noticed Gwen slouched at her desk, looking a little pale.

Concerned, Noah asked, "Hey, Gwen, are you okay? You don't look well."

Gwen turned to face him and reassured him, "I'm fine. It's just a little stomach discomfort." The truth was, her injury from yesterday still ached.

She sat up and took a sip from the drink Mary had brought her. Watching her, Noah felt something was off.

Still puzzled, Noah reached into his bag and handed Gwen a bottle of water. In truth, it wasn't ordinary water; he'd bought it from the system mall, and it had some mild healing properties, though it wouldn't do much since he wasn't sure of her exact symptoms.

Gwen looked at him, a little surprised. "What's this?"

"I'm not sure how to help exactly, but this water might make you feel better," Noah explained.

Gwen hesitated but decided to drink it, touched by his concern. The water tasted like regular water, though it had a slight sweetness to it and was pretty refreshing.

After drinking a few sips, Gwen was surprised to find her stomachache easing. "Wow, it really works. I feel a lot better," she said, smiling at Noah. "Thanks, Noah."

He smiled back. "I'm glad it helped. I've got more if you need it."

He pretended to rummage through his bag again and pulled out two more bottles, handing them to her.

Gwen thanked him again and tucked the bottles into her bag. Noah winked at her and teased, "Why so polite today, Miss Stacy?"

"Thank you so much! Should I expect a reward?" he grinned.

Gwen blushed and playfully glared at him. "Hmph, don't get any ideas! You won't get any reward from me."

Seeing her regain her usual lively spirit, Noah felt relieved. The two of them continued their playful banter.

Meanwhile, Peter, who was sitting in front of them, heard the laughter and glanced back. Watching them, Peter began to wonder, "Should I try Noah's approach and 'connect' with Mary Jane?"

He glanced over at Mary Jane, who was busy sketching something in her notebook. After thinking it over for a few moments, Peter leaned in and asked, "Hey, Mary, what ever happened to that dinosaur egg I gave you? Did it hatch?"

The teacher on the stage was giving a lecture, and Noah was bored. His mind was blank, and he was in a daze.

Noah turned his head and lay down on the table, watching Gwen listen carefully.

Of course, Gwen could feel Noah's gaze, but she had gotten to know him during this time.

She knew that he had already mastered this material, so she didn't bother reminding him, as she had when they first met.

Noah might have finished studying, but Gwen hadn't, so she still needed to pay attention.

As Noah looked at Gwen, he couldn't help but think about the Ghost spider from the previous night.

Noah mused, "That ghost was attractive, but still not as stunning as my Gwen."

Noah glanced at Gwen and narrowed his eyes.

Suddenly, a flash of realization hit him like a bolt of lightning.

"Gwen, Spider-Man, that costume…"

"Spider-Gwen… no way!"

Noah suddenly remembered the alternate universe Spider-Man that his classmates used to talk about in his previous life.

One of his classmates had been a die-hard Marvel fan, watching all the movies and reading countless comics.

This friend would often tell Noah about Marvel comics, though Noah preferred movies over comics, so he never really got into them.

Still, Noah vaguely remembered his friend telling him that there were multiple Spider-Men, including a female version.

It hadn't been in the Spider-Man movies he had watched, the ones connected to the Avengers.

But because the idea of a female Spider-Man was unique, Noah recalled fragments of what his friend had said back then.

At this moment, Noah felt as though he had just pieced everything together.

"That's why that outfit looked so familiar," he thought.

"Gwen said she had a stomachache today…"

The image of him punching the Ghost spider against the wall last night suddenly flashed in his mind.

"No way! No! It can't be!"

Noah felt his whole body tense up, his thoughts spiraling into chaos.

Quickly, Noah rummaged through his bag, pulling out a calming potion and gulping it down to steady his nerves.

With a sigh of relief, Noah felt his racing heart finally slow down.

He thought carefully about his memories, as well as the clues from last night and today.

"I remember now… Marvel does have a female Spider-Man," Noah thought.

"And that Spider-Man is Gwen Stacy from an alternate universe."

"Although the world I'm in now is different from those stories, it doesn't rule out the possibility that this world has a Spider-Gwen."

Noah continued piecing things together.

"Last night, I punched… not Gwen… I punched the ghost."

"And today, Gwen has a stomachache.

The more Noah thought about it, the more certain he felt that he was in trouble.

He snapped out of his thoughts with only one plan in mind: he had to figure out whether Gwen was the ghost.

Noah decided he would act that night.

He would use Venom to possess Gwen, a method that would let him confirm her identity without Gwen noticing.

If he didn't gain any powers from Gwen, it would mean she wasn't the ghost.

But if he did gain abilities…

Then Noah would have to figure out what to do next.

With his plan decided, Noah was restless in the classroom, wishing he could fast-forward time to get to the evening.

Ever since realizing that Gwen might be the ghost, Noah hadn't been able to chat with her as freely as before.

This made Gwen feel a bit strange.

Finally, when school ended, Noah said quick goodbyes to his friends and hurried off as if fleeing.

On his way home, Noah pedaled his car so fast .

He didn't stop to chat with anyone when he got home, rushing upstairs in long strides.

Once in his room, he flipped the "Do Not Disturb" sign and locked the door in one swift motion.

Noah hastily turned on his computer and started searching for information about the ghost spider.

After Bill's trial a few days ago, Noah hadn't paid much attention to the news.

Back then, the news had been filled with stories about Venom, which had frustrated Noah, so he had tuned it out, focusing instead on his nighttime crime-fighting work.

However, these days, news about the ghost spider had started appearing.

The ghost spider had first shown up the night after the Venom had kill Bill.

Like the Venom, the ghost spider appeared every night, fighting crime and protecting the peace of the neighborhood.

Unlike the Venom, she didn't kill anyone. Instead, she stopped crimes by binding criminals with spider silk and leaving them at the entrance of police stations.

Because of her stealthy nature and signature spider silk, the internet had started calling her the ghost spider.

At the same time, debates about her methods began to surface on websites dedicated to discussions about Venom.

The online debate was heated.

Some people who disliked the Venom praised the ghost spider for her more humane approach, calling the Venom brutal and inhumane executioners.

Others, who supported the Venom, criticized the ghost spider for being too kind, saying that criminals needed to be eradicated, not given a second chance.

There were also people who hated both the ghost spider and the Venom, calling them destroyers of order, terrorists, and anarchists who trampled on the government's authority.

Only a small group of people seemed able to rationally respect both methods of fighting crime, and most of them gathered on a Venom forum.

Many of these people had been rescued by either the ghost spider or the Venom, so they had more nuanced views.

Noah scanned the online information, hoping to find any clues that could help him understand the ghost spider's identity.

He didn't stop until his father, Luke, came upstairs to call him for dinner.

"It seems like she's still being cautious and hasn't left any clues," Noah muttered to himself.

"I'll have to confirm things tonight."

With that thought, Noah shook his head and went downstairs to eat.

After dinner, Noah was sitting on the bed practicing his possession of the Venom and strengthening the bond between them.

By now, Noah's physical strength had surpassed Captain America's by about one-third.

Of course, that only referred to his physical condition—Noah had other abilities that Captain America didn't possess.

The Venom symbiote had also grown significantly. While initially malevolent, it had been reborn after being purified by the cosmic fire and was now entirely loyal to Noah. The more often Noah used Venom's possession, the stronger he became.

As the night wore on, Noah felt the time was right.

With a thought, his suit materialized over his body, and he jumped out of his window.

Under the bright moonlight, Noah sprinted toward Gwen's house.
