Chapter 4: Overpowered Reward!

Origin Dimension, Before the First Cosmos

'Zenith, how can you separate from the system? And how will the system function afterward?' I asked her.

'Ryan, you can access the system's features simply by focusing on them. However, certain functions—like selecting a sin, claiming rewards, and activating the absorb ability—will require my assistance. At present, I can only manifest as a soul, and my powers will remain linked with yours.'

As she completed her explanation, I asked if she would like the to separate from the system. In response, she manifested before me as a radiant, shimmering soul, and together we drifted through the Origin, exploring and acquainting ourselves with the full extent of our powers.

Using Energy Manipulation, Zenith and I swiftly formed humanoid energy bodies from the latent energy within the Origin. Zenith's energy form glowed with intense, golden light, radiating warmth and strength. Her smooth, graceful figure pulsed with steady energy, surrounded by swirling trails of gold.

My form, in contrast, shimmered with vibrant hues of blue, purple, and gold, converging at a pulsing core at my chest. Colors swirled around me like a cosmic nebula, creating a fluid, otherworldly beauty that captured the raw power of the Origin.

Together, we drifted endlessly in the Origin, honing our powers and exploring the vast coloured rivers of energy that wound toward the cosmic sky. We visited towering mountains and drifted through the skies, using our energy vision to unveil the secrets hidden within the Origin.

While we explored, a sudden pulse of intent reached me from deep within the core of the Origin, felt clearly through my Dimensional Authority.

"There seems to be a consciousness surfacing within the core of Origin," I informed Zenith, my voice laced with curiosity.

"It should be the will of Origin," Zenith speculated, her tone thoughtful. "Naming it has likely granted it the potential for sentience. We need to look after it."

"Yes, it is indeed Origin's will," I confirmed, using my Dimensional Authority to further sense its presence.

With Zenith, I floated toward the core of Origin. As we approached, I witnessed a swirling mass of latent energy concentrated at the center. From this energy, a will was beginning to emerge, but it struggled to fully materialize without guidance.

"Should we help the will emerge, or should I use my own consciousness as the will of the dimension?" I asked Zenith, weighing the options carefully.

"Ryan, I really don't think splitting your consciousness is a good idea," Zenith replied, her tone turning serious and filled with concern. "It could harm your mind. Let's assist the will of Origin in emerging; it's a safer approach and due to this dimension being one of your wish it will be loyal to you."

With that said, I harnessed my Dimensional Authority along with Energy Manipulation to guide the latent energy toward the core, while Zenith lent her support, reinforcing the emerging will.

As we focused our energies, time lost its meaning. Slowly, the will of Origin began to take shape, rising from the depths of its core, ready to emerge into existence.

With a pulse of latent energy exploded from the core toward, and the will of Origin fully emerged.

She manifested before me, taking on an energy form similar to Zenith and me. She appeared as a glowing figure made of pure energy, with bright colors of blue, purple, and gold. Her form was fluid, like swirling stardust, and a radiant light shone from her head. Energy flowed around her body, making her look both graceful and powerful.

'Master,' I received a telepathic message through my connection with Origin.

'Are you the will of Origin?' I asked the silly question already knowing about it.

'Yes! Master!' it replied in a eager tone, brimming with excitement.

'Don't call me master; call me Ryan,' I corrected her in a gentle tone.

'Ma-Ryan,' it replied shyly, the name spilling from its essence.

Curiosity got the better of me as I asked, 'Do you have a gender or name?'

'I don't have a name, and I am female, thanks to your preference while helping me emerge,' she replied, her voice trailing into a soft whisper.

I shamelessly brushed off the second part—this situation felt all too familiar, like when I had named Zenith. Keeping my expression composed, I started to think of an appropriate name. While she was the will of Origin, I knew she deserved an identity of her own.

'Your name will be Elysia Origin,' I decided firmly. 'We'll call you Elys,' I added.

Her joy was palpable, evident in the chaotic flow of energy within Origin as she embraced her new name.

'Elysia! Elysia Origin! Elys! Thank you, Ryan!' she exclaimed, her voice ringing with joy as she repeated her new name, embracing it wholeheartedly.

I let her talk to Zenith while I checked the system notifications.

Zenith floated closer, her expression serious as she began to explain the energy source. 'Life-Flare is a powerful energy core capable of transforming one type of energy into another, but it requires a sample of the desired energy to create it. Additionally, it can grow stronger by absorbing various species and inheriting their abilities. Its primary function, however, is to grant sentience to energy bodies formed from the essence of other sentient beings, nurturing them to life and helping them evolve. Since this is your reward, you have complete control over its power.'

This reward is incredibly overpowered—far surpassing the capabilities of its counterpart All-Spark from Transformers. With its power, I could create an entirely new race within Origin, one that could greatly advance my future plans.

'You could merge this with Origin's core,' Zenith suggested. Without hesitation, I retrieved the glowing white orb of light from my inventory.

'Elys, I'm going to fuse the energy source with the core. Help me with the integration process,' I reached out to Elys.

'I'll do my best to assist you, Ryan,' she responded, her tone filled with determination.

Using Dimensional Authority and Energy Manipulation, I began merging the Life-Flare with Origin's core. Zenith and Elys worked alongside me, making the process seamless.

Once the core and Life-Flare were fully fused making it Genesis Core, everything went still—no energy surges, no explosions, no dramatic displays. Just silence.

Then, Zenith's voice reminded me, "It needs a sample of energy to generate the type of energy that you want."
