~~~Qarth Military Base, Xandar~~~
~~~Oscar Tumbler~~~

"Before you begin to expose your interests because I believe you have them, I must know who I am addressing," The Emperor, not letting any of us speak after being introduced, decided to start the conversation himself. Whether it was as a method of taking control or a demonstration of who had the power at this time.

"Good day, Emperor Jaesyrian," I advanced, as the highest ranking member among my peers, I had to interject, "I am Lieutenant Oscar Tumbler, of the United States of America, and I am representing my country, I have sufficient permission, along with voice and command to peacefully dialogue with His Majesty on issues that will lead to beneficial agreements between both parties."

The Emperor nodded. "Well, then I introduce myself, I am The Emperor of Xandar, Azrael Jaesyrian, King, Khal, Jattar, and father of a nationalistic and militaristic Empire, this is my Empress, Isabella Farwan of Carcosa," The Emperor introduced his wife, the beautiful young woman seated to his right, a woman who did not appear to be over twenty years old, something that produced alerts in my mind, thinking of the tender age of these monarchs and that they would be the ones controlling a nation of such caliber.

"And this is Empress Valka Laveau of the Swamp Biome," it was here that I felt the same feeling again as before when I looked at the so-called witches, giving me bad feeling, especially with the completely black eyes the woman, who, although she had a striking beauty, gave off a sinister and frightening aura.

"For us, it is a pleasure to receive you in Xandar, although we had hoped to organize this meeting in the capital of the Empire, due to setbacks, and other circumstances, it had to be organized here, however, know that although in Xandar we do not receive foreigners in a good way, know that you are our guests, to create bonds that last", Empress Isabella decided to speak, releasing a tender and silky accent that made my eardrums dance.

It was as if she heard that food was ready after a week of famine, "I'm sure the man we allowed to return shared with you the issue that a few days ago a fleet attacked on the north coast, the man who stayed 'protected' in Xandar commented that it is an Empire called Japan, what ties do you share with it?" Empress Valka, not wanting to be left behind, brought up the subject of Japan with a biting and direct tone, showing no swagger to say things.

"We are enemies," I immediately responded, wanting to make it clear that the United States did not share a relationship with said traitorous nation, "several months ago we enjoyed an unstable peace, we had even made peace signatures, but we were betrayed and attacked, since then, our nation entered into what is known as World War II, a war of massive proportions where many good people have died."

Seeing that I had appeased the woman's murderous intent for the moment, I motioned to three diplomats, who nodded and motioned to approach the three monarchs, which I did not measure and had an unintended effect.

The eight men spread out on either side of the three thrones stepped forward and drew their weapons, much like the Khopesh, as the witches tensed. I immediately stepped in, wanting to avoid a crisis, "Heh, heh, calm down! My companions just want to give you documents about basic information about our country and the situation in the world right now."

[Lyka] With Azrael's order, everyone went back to their previous potions, but this time without letting their guard down, apparently the term Nationalist Empire was not wrong, observing how they practically worshipped their monarchs.

One of the Blood Riders left the group, walking towards my companions and accepting the documents without saying a word, then handing them to Empress Valka, but not to the Emperor.

"Your nation is at war, Xandar has a strong apprehension about entering foreign conflicts, so unfortunately, you will not be able to receive support from us, however, we hope that commercial, political, and social ties are fostered, Xandar has an apprehensive amount of metals, food, medical products, which although they will not make a direct intervention in your conflict if they will help to mitigate the casualties they may receive from this," Isabella explained.

And it was a direct home run, I did not expect to receive military aid from this place, that was something impossible, but to receive help in paltry, but fundamental things like metals for the construction of more ships and planes was a victory, not to mention food, something that had been creating a dent in the country due to the agricultural difficulty of the country at the time when the peasants stopped planting to start assembling weapons.

"I agree with this, it would present an enormous help, something I would be very grateful for," I said, happy with the beginnings of the meeting, already later on a way could be arranged to have them help us in the war in Europe, as for the Pacific war, as they had already engaged in combat against Japan, then they were already immersed in that conflict.

"Very well, you will be allowed in the base, and you will be able to know a little more about our facilities, the city in front of the Summer Sea, you will have to be accompanied to avoid dangers or conflicts, but you are free to document and learn about us", The Emperor commented, ending the meeting, making me follow Sheqaz together with my companions to the outside, where we could know more about this base and how it worked.

"This base is very well built, they must have very capable engineers and architects," on the way outside the building, I started a conversation with Sheqaz, wanting to get more information.

"Well, it was built by the king, so yes, he knows a lot about it," the king? What, he had designed it? "I'm afraid I don't understand, the king designed the base?" I asked, noticing Sheqaz tense up a bit.

"Ehh, yes, he designed it," he replied effusively, in the end, I decided not to press him. "Come, meet the wyvern," Sheqaz's voice brought me out of my thoughts, as he led us to where a red dragon was stationed several meters away.

"Wyvern? Not a dragon?" one of the cameramen asked, confused, "hahaha, no, these beauties are not dragons, although they are more aggressive than one, these cannot spit fire, that's why they are called wyverns, plus they are not as big as dragons the only ones who own one are the Empresses and the Emperor, which are Morghul, Brighfire, and Endoxes."

"Only this far, they won't accept anyone to come any closer, unless it's their rider," Sheqaz warned, stopping everyone about twenty meters away from the animal, a beautiful beast, that had red fur and scales, with several horns and protrusions from its head to the end of its tail, it was a beauty.

"Click", the sound of the flash of one of the cameras was heard, along with the bright light shining down, managing to catch the attention of the wyvern, which didn't like the light, causing it to turn towards us and start showing its teeth, roaring and approaching towards us. "Behind me!" Sheqaz didn't stay static, and taking a whip from his waist, he whipped it against the air, making a sharp noise and stopping the animal's advance, which was only designed to roar and snap its strong jaw.

"Don't do that again, the next one may not be too motivated to give in so easily," Sheqaz explained, letting out a sigh of relief, "what are those bull-like beasts?" An analyzer asked, pointing to the huge quadrupedal creature over three meters tall and almost six meters long, which looked like a cross between a bison and a bull.

"Those are Devastators, creatures with a bad temper and a special taste for human flesh, that's why the metal muzzles, are very strong and intelligent, that's why they can be ordered in material transport tasks, only if you put me to choose, I'd rather face an Enderman than one of those things," Sheqaz explained grumpily, apparently, he had a bad history with the creature.

So, for the next few hours, we watched and got to know much of the base, learning about it and its organization, with the latter done with utmost preparation and control, showing almost infinite order and subordination.

However, it was late in the afternoon when several roars could be heard, watching as a total of five wyverns of much larger size than I had seen so far arrived at the base, at the same time noticing how Sheqaz tensed up and his face became serious.

The five best riders got off their mounts and headed for the building at full speed as if they had to do something important in the shortest possible time. "What's going on?" I asked, confused about what had just happened.

"They are war messengers, something happened or is about to happen, and if they are the ones giving the message, then Xandar could be entering some conflict very soon," Sheqaz explained seriously, with a serious countenance and a clenched jaw.

As I thought about what might have happened, perhaps another nation had made contact with Xandar as we had, or even Japan had perhaps given a response to the destruction of one of their fleets, whatever it was, I didn't want to miss it, wanting to know the war capabilities of this place.
