C11 FIONA AND ALICE

Fiona barged into the shower.

"You moron!!" She rushed into my stall and slammed the wall with her fist, "How could you reject such an offer?" She shouted and asked with her fist right next to my head.

"Oh my, aren't you the brave one," I smirked, looking into her eyes. First of all, this was the men's room and I'm butt naked, taking a shower. Right now, she is just an inch or two away from my cock touching her stomach, "Feeling adventurous lately?"

Fiona blinked a few times before understanding the situation. As always she's a hot-headed girl, not knowing how to process everything and end up doing foolish things.

"OH MY GOD!!!" She immediately withdrew her body back in haste and turned around, giving me her back. "Why the hell are you not embarrassed at all? Shouldn't you feel a little embarrassed to be seen naked in the bathroom or is it like I'm the first girl to see you?" She asked while still covering her eyes.

"Look at you, trying to be embarrassed when it's you who barged into my shower stall. So, why the heck should I be embarrassed? I'll gladly give you a show since you are feeling a little adventurous today," I laughed. I ain't gonna act like a shy guy here, come on, fuck that.

"WHAT?! Shut up!" She retorted angrily, "Ugh, stop talking. I just wanted to know why you rejected Gamora's proposal. Are you crazy? Who in the fucking universe would reject an offer to train under a Guardian? Do you know how many people will kill to be in your position?"

"I know, but that doesn't concern me. I don't care about others. Why must I do everything that others want to do? I make my own choices in life. I don't need others to decide my life for me," I washed my hair and replied to Fiona. "Also, I don't want to be tied down to others. I ain't going to be responsible for saving the universe and the galaxy out there. You see, everyone will praise you for saving them, but if you fail even once, those same people will curse you to death for not saving them. Life ain't that easy out there. I'm perfectly fine with my current life. I ain't gonna be bound by expectations that I never asked for."

"But still," She sighed and argued, "You can go anywhere you want with that level of talent if you join the Guardians. You are a natural, Jack. You mastered melee combat techniques within just two weeks under me and defeated me today. It usually takes months for students to master the basics. So, why are you limiting yourself to Knowhere?"

"Isn't it the same for you?" I questioned her instead, "You are talented, beautiful, strong, and smart. You could go anywhere you want to, but you stay here, and study the things you already know... Isn't it kinda waste of time? You could go anywhere you want to, yet you choose to stay here..."

"That's different," Fiona defended herself.

"Exactly, just like you have your reasons, I've mine," I closed the shower and took the towel.

Fiona turned around as I wrapped the towel around my waist.

"Aren't you a bit curious about my reason?" She asked, "Don't you wanna know why I chose to stay here?"

"No, why would I?" I dried my hair with another towel, "We barely know each other, so why would I be curious about your past?" I walked past her, "So far, our relationship is strictly business-related. You lost a bet and fulfilled the end of your bargain by training me. Now, I've completed my end of the deal, by not complaining or going against your training regiment. Plus, I beat you today. So, we are done here," I shrugged and left the shower room.

"...." Fiona clenched her fists in silence.

Yeah, that's harsh. She is a sexy green Zehoberei lady. Anyone would die to be in my place right now, but I'm not gonna play with her. I must get stronger than anyone if I were to live a long and happy life. Oh, if you are wondering about her species, then yeah, they came back to life after Tony used the infinity stones to reverse the damage done by Thanos and killed him permanently. Yeah, Infinity Stones are OP, dude, OP!

[Library]

Next, I decided to hit the library and read some books on weapon mastery. I have three months to complete the quest, so, might as well finish it early and earn some additional rewards. Hmm... Let's see what type of books I can find here. There are thousands of books here, ranging from fiction to non-fiction. These are all trash, I need the real deal...

After hours of searching, I found some decent books related to weapons. They are pretty old though, but it's better than nothing...

I sat down on the sofa near the window and started reading, absorbing the knowledge from these books.

------

Four hours later...

Damn, my brain feels heavy. Reading for four hours straight feels weird. I guess this is what they call information overload... I feel like my brain is gonna explode any minute now. Let me stretch for a bit.

"Ouch!!!" Someone bumped into me as I stretched my body.

"Hey, watch where you are going," I scolded the culprit.

"Shut up, nerd," The girl cursed me and sat opposite to me with a huge stack of books.

"Alice?! Wow!" I exclaimed when I saw Alice, my older rebellious sister, sitting opposite to me with a huge stack of books.

"What?" Alice asked with a glare.

"Nothing, just... Well, I never imagined you coming to the library to read books," I replied with a sarcastic tone.

"Shut up. Mind your own business," She snapped back angrily.

"Geez, chill out," I shrugged and sat back down on the chair. "So, I heard that mom cut your allowances and all... What's the deal? You pissed her off again?" I know the situation and it was me who put mom up to her ass, but she doesn't need to know that.

"None of your business," Alice opened one of the books and ignored me.

"Come on, sis," I teased, "You can always talk to your younger bro. Come on, tell me what happened, maybe I can help you out."

Alice glared at me with anger in her eyes and hissed, "Stay outta this, Jack. I mean it."

"Okay, okay. Fine, suit yourself," I raised both my hands and surrendered.

"Whatever," Alice resumed reading.

I also went back to reading my books, ignoring my sister.

------

One hour later...

Alice was scratching her head. Before her lay a maths book with complex equations written inside. She groaned silently as she scratched her head once again. Her notebook was filled with scribbles and mistakes, indicating that she wasn't able to solve the given problems.

"Need any help?" I interrupted her with a smirk on my face.

"Piss off, Jack," Alice hissed like a snake, "Go bother someone else. I ain't interested in playing your stupid games."

I shrugged and went back to reading my books.

------

Five minutes later...

Alice scratched her head once again. This time she groaned loudly. She slammed the book shut, covered her face with both of her hands, and sighed. She looked tired and frustrated.

"Want my help now?" I offered once again with a smug on my face.

Alice peeked through her fingers and stared at me. She removed her hands and rested her chin on the table with a bitter expression.

"Fine," She finally agreed, "Help me out with this problem here... Please..." She added with a soft voice.

"Huh?! What was that? I couldn't hear it properly, care to repeat it once again?" I teased her with a smile.

Alice gritted her teeth and grumbled with frustration, "Please help me solve this goddamn problem!" She slammed the maths book open and shoved it towards me, "Happy?!"
