Five minutes later.
In front of the bar, Cersei, Icarus, and Sprite stood still, each with a glass in front of them.
Meanwhile, Jack replaced the bartender, standing behind the bar and easily shaking a cocktail shaker.
Oh, and as for the original bartender, the ash on the ground is him.
After a while, Jack stopped, opened the cocktail shaker, and poured the light blue liquid equally into the three glasses.
"Do you know, I was really surprised when I first discovered y'll existence."
Putting down the cocktail shaker, Jack looked at the three people and shook his head lightly.
"But after seeing you with my own eyes, I'm somewhat disappointed."
"Forgive me for being blunt, but you... all are too weak."
Even though the words were almost insulting, the three did not get mad at all.
They were so exhausted that they could barely move, let alone get angry.
Suddenly, the heavy pressure on them like a mountain disappeared without a trace.
It was like it never happened. When they were finally free, they looked at each other and saw deep fear in their eyes.
This human was too powerful.
Powerful enough to make you want to give up.
Even the Allfather Odin, the ruler of the Nine Realms whom they had encountered before, didn't possess this strength.
Absolutely not.
Icarus was the only one of the three who remained calm. Cersei and Sprite had gloomy and fearful expressions on their faces.
"Let's continue the last topic. Why did you come looking for me? Considering your... somewhat positive image in history, I'll give you a chance to explain."
Jack tapped the table, which got the three people's attention.
Although there was a smile on his face, the last sentence made their hearts skip a beat.
They knew that if they couldn't come up with a good answer, this harmless man with a charming smile would actually kill them.
The three looked at each other and seemed to talk about what to do to save their lives.
After a moment of eye contact, it was Cersei who finally spoke.
"We... We're very sorry. We had to use Wanda."
Cersei nervously swallowed her saliva and carefully continued, "But we never intended to harm her. Really, Icarus can instantly kill any vampire who tries to hurt her."
Icarus, standing beside her, nodded in agreement.
Jack glanced at him, then looked back at Cersei. The smile on his face slowly faded.
"I'm not afraid for her safety. I just don't like her being used by others."
"So, if that's all you wanted to say, then..."
Jack didn't finish his sentence, but the tears welling up in his eyes revealed everything.
Seeing this scene, an alarm bell rang in the hearts of the three.
They immediately wanted to escape, but they could not move. This made them feel hopeless.
In this critical moment, Sprite spoke up.
"It's Arishem. Arishem sent us to test you."
When hearing this, the sparkle in Jack's eyes slowly darkened, and he furrowed his brows.
Arishem?
This could be troublesome.
He should have realized it earlier.
There is a big guy sleeping in the Earth's core, the other members of the Celestials wouldn't be far away.
Although Jack hadn't read Marvel comics, he had learned about the main characters because of the movies.
Especially when he found out about Marvel's plans for the Eternals, he specifically searched for information related to them.
For example, he knew that the Eternals were created under the genetics of the Celestials, and the Celestials were one of the Cosmic Beings in the Marvel universe.
He also had some knowledge about Arishem, who had the codename "The Judge."
He didn't know what he judged, but he knew that he held to be the Leader of the Celestials.
Leader, huh? If he dared to call himself that, he could not have less power than Jack, especially since Jack was still recovering.
If he went up to him too rashly, he would probably lose.
The important thing was the Celestials.
They were one of the Five Cosmic Beings in the Marvel universe, or maybe four, since his old buddy Galactus was still sitting on the bench next door.
Although in the comics, Thanos, who collected all six Infinity Stones, didn't pay much attention to the Celestials, Jack couldn't afford to underestimate them now.
Even though he had all five Infinity Stones, he had used them so much from using them to return the universe back to its original state in Dark Doctor Strange's Universe.
After all, the energy needed to restore an entire universe was not a small amount.
Even though they were still Infinity Stones, their strength could not be compared to anything else.
It looks like something needs to be handled.
"Alright."
After some thought, Jack nodded slowly. "Arishem, The Judge, the Leader of the Celestials, sent you to test me? Is there nothing else?"
"That's it, I swear."
The three of them answered at the same time.
"Okay."
Jack rubbed his face with a headache.
It wasn't a good thing to attract the attention of those big guys. He needed to be prepared.
"Considering your honesty, I'll let it slide this time."
He thought for a moment, then waved his hand.
"But I can't let you go without any consequences. So, I'll give you a small punishment."
After saying that, he waved lightly in front of the three, and a green light flashed and disappeared.
Cersei and the others felt strange energy flowing through their bodies for a moment, and then everything returned to normal.
They quickly checked their bodies but found no signs of discomfort, leaving them puzzled.
Could it be... an illusion?
"Alright, you can leave now."
Jack then waved his hand to tell them to leave.
The three exchanged glances and slowly left, realizing that Jack hadn't stopped them.
They quickly left the place.
They did not think anything of it at the time, but when they got white hair and wrinkles, they realized what Jack had done.
But that's a story for later.
"Sigh~"
As the three walked away, Jack let out a sigh. He then took out two new glasses and refilled them with alcohol.
"You heard everything, right?"
As Jack spoke, footsteps echoed in the empty dance floor, and soon, a black man wearing a leather jacket and carrying a sword on his back walked out slowly from the darkness.
The most strange thing was that even in the pitch-black nightclub, he was still wearing sunglasses.
If it were an ordinary person, they would have probably tripped and fallen, but he wasn't an ordinary person.
The man sat down opposite Jack, picked up the glass, and drank it all in one go.
"I heard it, quite impressive."
The man put down the glass and sighed, his tone full of regret.
"I thought dealing with vampires was troublesome enough, and now there's these Celestials."
"Believe me, this world is much more troublesome than you can imagine."
Jack refilled his glass and raised it in a toast. "Nice to meet you, Daywalker."
"Call me Eric. Only vampires call me Daywalker."
The man... no, the Blade took off his sunglasses, revealing eyes completely different from an ordinary person's.
He stared at Jack openly for a while before slowly speaking, "I can tell you're a good person and a powerful one. So, if possible, I have a favor to ask of you."
"I can guess what it is, but I'm sorry, I'm quite busy lately, with a lot on my plate."
Jack sighed and shook his head.
Seeing that, Blade felt somewhat disappointed and lowered his head.
After a while, he stood up and said, "Thank you for the drink. Goodbye."
It was impossible to force it. Since the other person didn't agree, he had no choice.
"Hey!"
Hmmm?
Hearing a shout from behind, Blade instinctively turned his head.
A syringe was flying towards him, and he caught it with his hand. Inside the syringe was a dark liquid, and he had no idea what it was.
"If you want to fight against vampires, inject it. It can eliminate your genetic flaws and make you... the strongest vampire hunter who can beat Dracula to the ground."
Jack didn't explain further, believing that Blade understood the meaning.
After giving him a complicated look, Blade nodded and turned to leave.
