Marvel: I can Steal Abilities

The bright sun shone brightly over the large bustling city of New York!

It was an average day, many people could be seen roaming the streets and crossing the roads in a crowded fashion, yet no one found anything amiss at all.

the sound of a subway train door opened and a tall black young man with short black dreads walked out along with a few others who were also on the subway train.

"fuck, I'm tired" Dante exclaimed as he raised his hand to wipe away the small beads of sweat that had appeared on his forehead.

Holding his work luggage, Dante calmly walked up the stairs and left the metro station.

squeak!

A sharp and subtle sound entered his ears as he made his way farther from the station.

"I hate this city sometimes," Dante said as he looked down at the small rat which had buried itself into a lump of trash that was randomly laying on the roadside.

Dante was previously from Virginia, A state that was vastly different from the bustling scene in New York City.

Why did he move here? for a job opportunity that he had been given after he graduated from college just a short year ago.

As Dante made his way through the bustling city of New York, his eyes couldn't help but land on a large virtual advertisement screen on one of the city buildings.

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse", was a new Spiderman movie that was now airing in many theaters and had a lot of hype behind it.

Dante had seen the previous movie before, Which was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

"Damn, I've been so busy I forgot about this movie, I could go see it this weekend with some friends," Dante thought suddenly, at this sudden realization his mood seemed to have become slightly better as he made his way home.

Although not a crazy fan of the Marvel movies, Dante had always enjoyed watching them and keeping up to date with all the new releases.

Who didn't love Marvel movies?

Dante Pulled out his phone and made a sudden call to his girlfriend who had been living with him lately.

A few seconds went by, yet there was no response.

"Is she out with her friends again?" Dante was confused but he stopped calling after ringing her number up a second time.

Making his way through the crowded city, it wasn't long before Dante made his way home back into his small apartment.

"I'm home" he shouted as he made his way through the front door and began removing his shoes.

but there was no response!

Dante didn't worry too much about it and made his way to the kitchen before grabbing some beer from the fridge.

Turning on his Tv screen, he released a long sigh of relief as he unbuttoned his work outfit.

"I'm gonna die if I continue this kind of work for another dozen years" Dante looked down at his stomach which was now protruding and resembled that of someone's father.

his previously fit body was now gone completely!

"I'll start working out again this weekend or something," Dante said with a procrastinating tone before his eyes landed on the Television!

While watching TV, Dante couldn't help but fall asleep on the couch, he only woke up almost 2 hours later, and the scorching sun could already be seen slowly setting from the view of the living room window.

Dante drowsily sat up and placed down the can of beer in his hands onto the table, he had drunk at least 5 cans and was nowhere near sober.

Holding onto the rails leading up the stairs, Dante made his way toward his room slowly.

"I got too over myself tonight," Dante said as he made his way towards his room, completely forgetting about his girlfriend.

"Hopefully she comes home before it's too late, I'm way too tired right now to continue calling," Dante said as he made his way toward their bedroom and pushed the door open.

Dante removed his clothes and made his way onto the bed, But his expression changed suddenly as he began removing the blanket.

"What the fuck?" Dante nearly yelled this out.

Lying in his bed was his girlfriend who was completely naked as well as a burly man covered in tattoos.

Due to Dante's Loud Scream, both of them were woken up and immediately looked around in confusion.

"D-Dante? why are you here?" His girlfriend Sophia said with a hint of shock and embarrassment in her voice as she noticed her boyfriend in the room.

"What the fuck do you mean? this is my house, who is he?" Dante said each word coldly as he gazed at the two figures on his bed.

"I- I thought you were on stand-by today at work so you...weren't home," Sophia said as her voice became shaky, and she trembled in the bed sheets.

The burly gangster-looking man who sat completely naked beside his girlfriend rubbed his temples calmly before yawning!

"Hey man, I don't like when people yell at me, get the fuck out or I'll have some people come kill you right now," The gangster said viciously, his eyes wandered all over the room, he was obviously under the influence of alcohol as well.

Dante was nearly enraged, did this man just come into his house to fuck his girl, then request him to pack his shit and leave?

There was no way Dante was taking that level of disrespect!

"This is my house, Leave right now before I call the police" Dante cursed as he raised his middle finger at the burly man.

"bitch, do you know who you are talking to?" The Burly man immediately sat up, he was nearly 6'4 in height and was built with muscles all over his body.

Dante felt his eyes shrink as he looked at this giant before him!

"What the fuck, this fucker just ruined my mood," The gangster said as he aggressively grabbed his pants which were on the floor, and immediately pulled out a gun from within.

Bang!

A single bullet flew out, and Dante was shot right in the chest, he stumbled backward as his eyes became bloodshot and blood flew out of his mouth.

Sophia became scared as she watched this, but there was no way she was going to help Dante, in fear of her own life.

"Let's go back to sleep my love, hehe, I'll have some people come to clean this up soon," The gangster said as he tossed the gun onto the dresser and moved towards Sophia who was on the bed.

Dante watched all of this happen with a glint of coldness in his eyes, who knew that someone like him who had lived an innocent life for all these years would have his girlfriend taken and his life taken all within the span of a few minutes.

it was truly unfortunate.

"Fuck this" Dante cursed as he placed a hand over his bloodied chest, after glancing at the endless stream of blood, a strange source of energy seemed to overtake his body.

Full of anger, Dante rushed towards the gangster, hastily grabbing the gun he had put on the dresser, Dante began using that same gun to pummel the head of the gangster.

"Die" Dante's veins bulged out of his head as he continued slamming the gun down, soon the gangster's head was turned into a large mush of blood, it was a terrifying sight.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Dante didn't stop there, he raised the gun and released multiple shots into the gangster's body before watching it fall onto the floor lifelessly.

"bitch" Dante finished this after spitting onto the body of the gangster and throwing it off the bed.

Although Dante's hands were shaky and even he was scared right now, what had happened had already happened.

he had no regrets.

Turning to look at the love of his life who sat there with traumatic traumatized expression, Dante couldn't help but frown as she saw her expression.

"You realize that you caused all of this right?" Dante said as he slowly sat up off the bed, cocking the gun back before pointing it at her.

"You could've just told me you didn't love me anymore, cheating was the worst thing you could do," Dante said with a frown.

Before the beautiful lady before him could even open her mouth, multiple gunshot wounds appeared on her head and she instantly died.

"I guess it's my time to go as well?" Dante said as he looked at the two bloodied bodies before him, A faint smile appeared on his face as his vision instantly blurred and his spirit faded.
