"Is everything alright?" Cyclops asked walking over as Storm slapped away Kai's hands from her lips. His eyes turned to Juggernaut who was barely breathing with his organs spilling out of his stomach leaving him horrified as to how easily the man had subdued one of the fiercest mutants he had known.

"It's fine."

"You are..." Cyclops' voice carried a sense of recognition as he looked at the man towering over him like a dark shadow with a complicated expression, "Nevermind, we need to get out of here before those guys appear again,"

"Those guys?" Nathan couldn't help but ask as today's momentum of how things went left him more in the dark than he ever was, "What do you mean?"

"We had to incapacitate the men surrounding the vicinity before we could come here." Cyclops answered, "Men, who I am sure you're familiar with."

"Fisk..." Nathan narrowed his eyes, glancing at Kai, who just shrugged nonchalantly in response.

"The professor wants to speak with you." Cyclops said turning towards Kai, "He asked me to tell you that if you want to rescue Rogue, you will need his help."

"Wheelchairs?" Kai made a tired expression as he leaned on Nathan with his arms resting on his shoulder, "It's true he could be of use and make things easier but I could always cut through things and get some information out here and there regardless."

"And it's really annoying how everyone seems to know about my business."

His gaze landed on Mystique, who was trying to crawl her way, out of the situation as he reached out his hand ready to strike another blow, aiming for her arm this time.

"Stop!" Storm grabbed his arms as lighting sparks covered her body, "Don't take this too far."

Kai's hand paused mid-air, his eyes narrowing slightly at Storm's intervention. The air crackled with tension as his gaze locked onto Mystique, who lay defenseless on the ground, her features contorted in pain and anger. Storm's grip on his arm tightened, the electricity sparking around her fingers in warning.

"Believe me I could take it much further..." Kai casually flicked his finger and within a split second, a deranged scream left Mystique's lips as her arm was dismembered in an instant, leaving her sprawled helplessly on the snow-covered ground. The metallic tang of blood mixed with the crisp winter air, the scene punctuated by the faint echoes of her agonized cry.

Storm's eyes widened in shock and dismay at Kai's ruthless action, her grip tightening on his arm even more, but Kai's expression remained impassive, almost detached from the brutality he had just inflicted.

"Kai, enough!" Cyclops' voice rang out, firm and commanding. "This isn't helping anyone."

Kai turned to face Cyclops, his demeanor unyielding. "I don't recall asking for your opinion," he retorted coldly, his gaze icy and unwavering. "Or anyone else's, for that matter."

"You're crossing a line," Storm admonished, her voice laced with a mixture of anger and frustration, "We're trying to help Rogue, not engage in senseless violence."

"Spare me your sanctimonious lectures," Kai snapped back, his tone biting. "I'm not here for your moral judgments and besides what makes you think I want to help Rogue and not kill her before any of you morons get your hands on her."

"..."

"And you, I am sure you're all powerful and all that but can you stop me before I take the head of the pretty boy here?" Kai turned towards Storm who reluctantly let go of his arms unsure of the extent of his powers or even the source of it.

For everyone except Kai, his attacks were completely invisible to the point where no one could see or deal with them until they hit the target but by then it would be too late to do anything regardless.

As Storm released Kai's arm, the tension in the air was palpable. Kai's expression remained impassive, his eyes flickering with a cold determination. He glanced back at Mystique, who lay on the ground, blood seeping into the snow, her breaths shallow and ragged. The scene was a stark contrast to the serene winter landscape around them.

"Sir, if I may... I believe we should hear what they have to say first." Nathan entered himself into the conversation reading the chilling atmosphere, being an ex-personal assistant for the previous Don, he was more than capable of handling situations even when they were too far gone, "As you said before, the easier way would be the way to go."

"I don't remember saying that, but I understand what you're trying to say." Kai lazily rolled his eyes as he glanced at the mutants around him.

Every single mutant here, including Cyclops, he was sure he could defeat one way or the other but when it came to Storm, an omega-level mutant with nearly nigh-infinite potential and power, he knew better than to try and fight her. Especially without knowing how to use domain expansion or Reverse Cursed Techniques and his current power level of only 2 fingers which would prove useless.

He could certainly use some tricks to win against her but when it came to direct confrontation, he wasn't sure he could win. At best, he could use Cyclops as bait and attack, but the chances of it working were less than he would like it to be.

"Fine..." Kai shrugged after a moment of consideration. "We'll play it your way, for now."

Storm exhaled a sigh of relief, though her guard remained up. Cyclops nodded, signaling to the group to move out. "Let's get back to the jet," he said. "We need to regroup and discuss our next steps with Professor Xavier."

Kai walked next to Storm crouching down in front of Juggernaut who despite all the blood loss, seemed to be still alive as he kept taking deep ragged breaths.

Kai grabbed the ends of Jaggernaut's mask, and with a quick, brutal twist, tore it off, revealing the battered face beneath. "You should be grateful," Kai muttered, his voice devoid of any genuine emotion. "You're the first to survive an encounter with me."

Juggernaut's eyes, filled with a mix of rage and helplessness, stared up at him, but he was too weak to respond.

"And for that, I shall put you out of your misery..." Kai stood up, and he concentrated his cursed energy to its full potential, decapitating the goliath with a single strike.

Knowing Juggernaut wouldn't have survived his previous strike regardless, although Cyclops wanted to stop him, Strom shook her head, as the best they could do at the moment was to put him out immediately without dragging his pain further.

Kill points: 390/1000

"Would you like to retrieve a finger now?"

The familiar system voice rang in his head, as soon as he killed Jaggaurnaut landing him a sweet 500 points in an instant. With the previous vampires giving him 40 points each amounting to 280 points and their leader who gave him 70 points. He had quickly managed to gather his third finger without killing as many people this time around.

Without missing a single beat, Kai swallowed the finger whole in an instant, turning back to Cyclops and Storm with the gigantic helmet in his hand, "Let's get moving then..."
