Chapter 84: No Move? Then Go to Hell!

Corvus Glaive is the leader of Thanos' Black order , second only to Thanos himself. Bloodthirsty and fiercely loyal, he fights across the universe in service to Thanos. He is in a romantic relationship with Proxima Midnight, who is also one of the five generals.

In Thor's eyes, however, they are simply two brutish figures clinging to each other for warmth, living as partners...

The second-in-command of the Black Order, Corvus Glaive, took an action that surprised Thor.

He waved his hand and commanded, "Come on, take him down, regardless of the cost!"

Thor: "???"

All the subordinates: "!!!"

Many soldiers looked at each other in confusion. Were they being sent to their deaths?

Thor was perplexed; these individuals had been working tirelessly to block him, only to send their men to give him experience?

Unbeknownst to them, Corvus Glaive was also flustered.

Though he had never worn a mask, Thor's daily exploits were well-known. Tens of thousands could perish in an instant, regardless of who was in front of him. The sheer variety of deaths was overwhelming...

At this moment, the rest of the Black Order was still on their way, leaving Corvus Glaive to panic alone...

He sent the soldiers as a delaying tactic to gauge the opponent's combat routines, commonly known as "sacrifices."

After a few seconds of silence, a group of vanguard guards, screaming "Wow, wow," charged forward, followed by the Chitauri soldiers.

"Crack..."

Thunder and lightning filled the sky, with "cracking" sounds echoing everywhere. Ashes were left in the wake of the chaos.

Corvus Glaive: "!!!"

Seeing his forces decimated in an instant, Corvus Glaive finally relented, raised his double-edged spear, and charged forward with a roar.

Thor exploded into action, leaping high and bringing Mjölnir down with destructive force. Corvus Glaive hurriedly raised his spear in defense.

"Boom--"

An earth-shattering noise erupted, and the entire cabin shook violently. The immense shockwave pushed the rest of the Black Order, who had just arrived, out of the way.

Ebony Maw's face changed as he used his psychokinetic powers to clear the smoke and rushed in first, stunned by the sight before him.

Most of Corvus Glaive's body was embedded in the seemingly indestructible floor, and the long spear that had once killed Heimdall was bent at a ninety-degree angle.

Thor stood before him, with flames and lightning surging around Mjölnir. Ebony Maw knew that the next blow would likely annihilate the Black Order...

The Black Dwarf hurled his massive chain-bladed axe at Thor and charged with great force, attempting to flank Thor and rescue his comrades.

Thor glanced sideways and swung his hammer.

"Boom--"

The hammer and axe collided, sending the giant axe flying at several times its original speed, with the Black Dwarf at the other end...

"Boom—"

The massive body was dragged by the axe blade and sent hurtling several hundred meters before crashing into a colossal pillar, becoming embedded in it and struggling to free himself.

Ebony Maw seized the opportunity to use his psychokinetic powers to pry Corvus Glaive free from the floor.

Corvus Glaive, though not visibly injured, was in poor condition. He stood trembling behind Ebony Maw, with Proxima Midnight supporting him, though he appeared unable to move.

As for the Black Dwarf? He was still stuck in the pillar, struggling to escape. The lower-ranking member of their group had been forgotten...

Only Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Supergiant remained to contend. With Corvus Glaive incapacitated, Ebony Maw had temporarily assumed leadership, though he would have preferred not to.

Thor had nearly decimated their team with just two strikes, making Ebony Maw realize that this role was not as enviable as he had thought.

Seeing that Thanos might not arrive soon, Ebony Maw gritted his teeth, extended his hand, and hurled countless steel and concrete fragments toward Thor.

"Boom--"

Flames ignited, reducing everything around to ashes in an instant. Ebony Maw was horrified to see that his psychokinetic powers could not reach Thor before being overwhelmed by this searing force that felt like his mind was in wife.

The Phoenix Force burned everything.

"No move? Then go to hell!"

The flames surged forward.
