AN ENCOUNTER WITH FLAME CHURCH
Lu Shen managed to kill the group of beasts, gain their cores and refine them after purifying the energy. His inner flame got stronger after he absorbed the flame energy within the core. His cultivation energy could have e developed, but he didn't want to push it. He would push his body to the extreme and stabilize his fast-growing cultivation base with fights before advancing to the intermediate Qi Emperor level.

His master had told him every detail he could chugg out about the Island of Fallen Royals. After killing the beast, he refined their corpses and cores to enrich his body with elemental and Weapon tempering Arts. His Life Weapons were getting more robust, and ever since he became an emperor, he could integrate any energy into his Life Weapons freely.
