Quincy Queen Su Yan

It was already night by the time Liu Zheng returned to the sect.

'It seems the reconstruction work of the sect is progressing well. The eight great families should be sending the their envoys to destroy the birthplace of the demon lord soon enough, a publicity stunt to ensure the masses that everything is under control. It will be a good time to collect a few transcendent souls as well.' he thought while observing the sect from above.

Liu Zheng summoned his zanpakutos and said, "You guys are free to do whatever you want. I'm going to rest for a while."

"Are you sure you're really going to 'rest,' king?" Zangetsu teased.

He received a swift kick for his comment, crashing somewhere in the nearby forest. The old man, being much more sensible, decided to explore the surroundings.

Landing in front of Su Yan's house, Liu Zheng found her already opening the door and giving him a tight hug.

"Sister Xia is safe, right?" she asked, burying her face in his arms.

"Yeah, I reached there in time. She's completely fine. But shouldn't you be asking about your husband's well-being first?"

"Who in this world can harm you right now? And I checked your condition the moment you entered the sect."

"Being complimented by my wife feels better than anything. Let me show you something interesting."

"W-What?" Liu Zheng picked her up, went inside, shut the door, and set up a temporary sound-blocking array he learned from the old man.

Su Yan ended up seeing a lot of interesting things that night, not sleeping until sunrise.

In the afternoon, Liu Zheng slowly opened his eyes and looked at the still-sleeping Su Yan. He decided to cuddle for a few more hours until she woke up.

When Su Yan finally woke, she noticed Liu Zheng was already awake, watching her.

"How long have you been awake, dear?"

"Not long. Watching you sleep peacefully puts my heart at ease."

Su Yan snuggled into his chest to hide her red face. "Then I'll make sure to sleep extra hours every day."

"Haha, that's a great idea, dear."

Suddenly, Su Yan sat up, remembering something. "Dear, there's something very important I wanted to tell you last night, but you didn't give me a chance."

"Oh? What is it?" Liu Zheng asked with curiosity.

"A few days ago, some changes occurred in my body. I can do this now." She extended her hand, palm up, and gathered the surrounding world energy at rate which shouldn't be possible for a human, forming a sword ..

"W-Wait, did you just form a sword by using the surrounding Qi?"

She smiled. "Yes. I discovered that I can feel a unique connection with the surrounding world energy, which wasn't present before and as I haven't had any major increase my cultivation, i came to the conclusion that it was probably not related to it. As I practiced, my control over the surrounding energy kept increasing, and now i can do this."

Su Yan proceeded to created many more swords in the air which surprised Liu Zheng as it had taken him a more than a weeks to achieve such mastery which just goes to prove how great her innate talent is.

"We should consult Old Man about this, nobody knows about Quincy abilities better than him."

He said after which they proceeded with their mourning routine in the afternoon.

Old man and Zangetsu both came back and were equally surprised, especially Old man, who was looking much more serious

"So, how did this happen? Does it have something to do with my vital yang passing on the abiltiy?"

Liu Zheng asked.

"There has been no such precedent of Quincy ability being shared to a normal human with any method whatsoever except for one." The old man replied with a somewhat hesitant expression.

Liu Zheng understood his expression and said "You can trust her as much as you trust me. You must already know her character by now."

"It is not that I don't trust her but knowing such things can put her life in danger, not in the near future but certainly far in the future."

Liu Zheng thought for a second and replied "The dangers of the future will be dealt with in the future. It just means I have to grow much stronger, much faster, with a very solid foundation so that I can protect those I want to."

"Sigh.... The problem wouldn't be solved with just your strength, no matter how strong you are.. But its fine I believe you will find a way.

Have you ever wondered how the Quincy progenitor was able to establish a clan of quinces and make it a cave heaven in just one lifetime though it was short lived?"

Liu Zheng thought for a second and replied with an awkward smile " The ancestor must have quite active, I guess?"

"Hmm, hmm. He must have 4 balls at the very least." Zangetsu nodded.

Old man bonked Zangetsu with a Quincy baseball bat and continued "It was because that he was the only Quincy who was not only able to take power but also share it with others through his blood essence. It could bring out all the latent potential inside their body, increasing their talent and strength by a long margin as well as granting them the standard abilities of a Quincy. If a quincy ever falls short, they could have a chance to increase their talent with a few drops of their king's blood.

So his blood essence could essentially create new Quincies and his blood could continuously empower them so that they could continue to follow behind their master provided Yhwach was much stronger than them."

Liu Zheng was shocked to learn the abilities of the Quincy King. 

'If my blood has similar abilities, Doesn't that mean I can create a huge army which could follow me even into the outer space?' He thought to himself.

"Wait, it must come at a cost right if his abilities are so amazing?" Liu Zheng realized.

"The only drawback is that it can't be used endlessly or it would cause a huge drawback to your cultivation. If you really posses such abilities, for now your limit should be 2-3 people, aside from those you dual cultivate with."

"Doesn't that mean it is better to dual cultivate to make more Quincies?"

"Yes, yes, As the harem expands, so does the army." Zangetsu nodded again.

Both of them were bonked by Su Yan and old man respectively. 

"I-i was just kidding, Dear. I would never try that, you believe me right?" Liu Zheng tried to convince Su Yan.

"I know, but you shouldn't have such thoughts." Su Yan smiled in her usual lovely manner relieving Liu Zheng.

"Ahem... That method isn't tested nor should it be . The Quincy king had only two wives in his lifetime so there is no way to know but knowing how dual cultivation works it probably won't work after a certain limit and it should be much harder to pass the abilities via this method, taking years."

"You should learn from your ancestor." Su Yan impressed with the Quincy king's integrity and devotion.

"I will not only learn from him but also surpass him one day." Liu Zheng said with both Su Yan and Zangetsu taking different meaning from the same words.

"Then for now you should start teaching Su Yan in the ways of the Quincy. I think her ice powers mixed with control over world energy would help her achieve some really incredible feats, and she should also be able to increase her qi reserves temporarily." He asked old man.

"She should be able to increase her reserves temporarily by at least twice where her body would contain her own qi in her dantain and an equivalent amount of world energy, both of them restraining and enhancing each other." the old man explained.

"Then we should start right away. I have some matters regarding the sect which will take a few days and in the mean time you can train with Old Man. Don't worry his explanations are always to the point and will help you only when absolutely necessary, helping you grow with maximum efficiency."

The old man was visibly happy with the praise he received. Liu Zheng continued

"Take this Myriad Drug Milk and Cream. The Milk will help you in your cultivation as well heal your injuries but you should be cautious as its grade is very high so only take what you can digest. As for the cream only take 1/4th of a drop or less every few days. It can enhance talent." He handed her three bags.

"Are you sure you want to give me so much of it, dear? If it is so precious, you must not have a lot of it." Su Yan appeared reluctant in accepting it.

"Even if you wanted all of it, I would have given it without a second thought. I already enough for all of us so when it is finished, you can ask for more." 

Su Yan thanked him and left with old man to start her training. Now Liu Zheng was left with zangetsu.

He looked at him thinking how to make this guy work now that everybody is going to be busy.

"Hey, you." 

"What?"

"What are you going to do now?"

"Nothing." 

"Sigh.. Just go refine the demonic yin qi and Flaming yang stones which are left. Also try to use the demon eye to learn a bit about arrays. I have sent a few of them which you can practice with." Liu Zheng sent a golden ray of light right into Zangetsu's head.

"Don't you already have Old Man for that? Why do you want me to learn such boring stuff?" Zangetsu replied with a frustrated look.

"The more we know, the better. I also have alchemy so both of you learning spirit arrays will help. Now go, shoo shoo."

Zangetsu left reluctantly, angry at the fact that he lost his free time.

'Now it's time to meet sect master and help him reach 2nd Order Transcendent realm.'

Since his zanpakuto is fused with his, there is now no difference between his base power and shikai it is active and fused all the time unless they are explicitly mentioned to be not present with him.

As for the abilities related to his blood, I had no plans to develop it any further and keep it a constant from now on, focusing totally on the cultivation and story but I have noticed that the original author has forgotten many important characters in his novel many times, mostly because they couldn't keep and the rest that he forgot which is reasonable thinking the number of characters present in the story.

So as to keep the good ones relevant until the end which you can also suggest me though comments, I decided to give him the ability to empower others.

I am not sure how you guys think about it and if it is getting too complicated I can just remove it. Comment down what your opinions are.
