Demon Lord Yang Bai

The clouds had already covered the entire island and there were still no signs of stopping. This honestly did scare Liu Zheng a bit because it was much worse than he had expected.

Since he had amassed great strength, comprehended the peculiar but powerful space force to some extent and used the best Body Cultivation Art, this is the best possible treatment the heavenly way of the world could him.

The third one and the fourth one ended up the same way and as if feeling provoked the fifth time was 5 times more powerful and Liu Zheng flew into the sky taking it head on and coming out with only a few scratches.

 The sixth strike didn't come right away and the black sky slowly started to turn a little red and the temperature started to rise.

Liu Zheng watching this instantly realized the opportunity mentioned by Old man zangetsu.

He smiled looking at the clouds now releasing sparks of red lightning and started circulating his Body Cultivation Art right away.

IMMORTAL ACENSION REALM (2ND STAGE)

Liu Zheng felt much more powerful than before and even his body cultivation had improved by large margin as well though it was the first break through where he didn't receive any notification on awakening some crazy powerful stuff but that was how it was going be from now on for a long time.

A white haired middle-aged man who was wearing black clothes whose appearance wasn't noteworthy and appears to be an extraordinarily ordinary man was currently hovering in the sky above the high heaven pavilion looking down at its people seemingly reminiscing about his past.

"So, you have managed to free yourself from the destitute dragon ravine and even managed to break through." said Ling Tai Xu as he subtly appeared behind the guy.

"Master's praise are too much. It was only because I stumbled upon a great opportunity during the imprisonment sentenced by Master that I was able to reach such heights and I congratulate master on solving your Heart's knot and breaking through." The guy turned around and said.

"I am not your master, Yang Bai. What is your purpose for returning to the sect instead of running away as you should have?"

"Disciple felt his work has been left undone for more than a decade and have come here to completely eradicate the High Haven Pavilion." Yang Bai smiled menacingly and readied his palm to attack Ling Tai Xu.

"IMPUDENCE! I will not repeat the same mistake I did by not killing 10 years ago and end it once and for!" Ling Tai Xu did the same and both of them charged towards each other.

Their palms collided creating a massive shockwave which affected the whole sect and in turn alerting them about the fight.

"W-What's happening?!"

"What was that just now?! Many buildings have collapsed!"

"What's going on out there?!"

Many of the buildings in side the sect were decimated as just collateral damage and dozens were injured by just being near where the fight was happening.

Many elders were shocked to see Yang Bai still being alive and wanted to help the sect master by fighting side by side with him but there not foolish enough to go again someone who's strength seemed to be out of this world. They get the same feeling from him as they get from the sect master, someone above the Immortal Ascension Realm.

So they did what someone with even 2 brain cells would do in this situation, help the disciples and other weak people who can't withstand being near such fight get away from it and evacuate the sect as soon as possible.

Su Yan was one of the people in the sect to be altered by sensing the dense qi of two monsters above the sect and as soon as she got out, she helped those near her to evacuate the sect as soon as possible.

As the fight went on for a few minutes she was finally able to see the face of the man attacking her sect and the sect master shouting his name "Yang Bai".

The same man who had killed her parents has someone come back to life again and gained strength far beyond her comprehension that she can't even help during a fight against the man who is culprit of her life's biggest tragedy.

The first time this guy attacked the sect she was overcome by grief and anguish from the death of her parents and this time she is left with the feeling of helplessness. 

"Su Yan! Get away from there!" Second Elders screamed as he pushed Su Yan away from her position where a residual Qi blast landed the next second creating a big explosion and she regained her senses.

"Look, I know very well how you feel right now but this is not the right time for it nor we have the strength to change anything. Sect Master is trying his best to not only fight that monster but protect the sect as well and as a core disciple of this sect it is your responsibility to organize all the disciples who are capable and help everyone evacuate the sect as soon as possible." Second Elder said to her to make her recognize the reality of the situation around her.

She clenched her fists and nodded. After that both of them quickly left to fulfil their own roles.

The fight between the demon lord Yang Bai and High Heaven Pavilion Sect Master Ling Tai Xu continued above the sect where Yang Bai had a very clear advantage over sect master as the sect master was not only a minor realm lower than his opponent but also had to protect the sect from as well as his techniques and secret arts were inferior to the demon lord who now had the inheritance of a third order Saint Demon General of the Tong Xuan realm.

5 incense stick worth of time later,

Currently the situation of the sect master was dire where his left arm was rendered useless for the time being and had also suffered a few internal injuries which has made him much weaker now.

"Even after transcending past your human limits and reaching this realm, it seems I am still stronger than you master. Why don't you leave the sect to the next generation and rest for good now?" Yang Bai said to Ling Tai Xu in a very calm voice indicating that this fight was of no effort to him.

"I can't die yet, not before I rid this world of you!" Sect master replied while circulating his qi to block internal bleeding and heal his injuries faster.

"Those are but empty words from a person who is too weak to have anything apart from a strong resolution against those who are truly strong. It is futile for you to resist, as your disciple it pains me to see you struggling like at so do me a last favor and die quietly." He said as he formed a huge palm over sect master and pushed it towards him.

"WE WON'T LET YOU HARM SECT MASTER, YOU DEMON!" 

All the appeared in front of the Palm falling from the sky and successfully resisted it with their full strength which made them feel like they could fight along side sect master to defeat this demon, but they couldn't be any more wrong.

"Aaaaaaaaaah!" Screams were heard as Yang Bai instantly decimated three of the elders.

"I was being kind to my master by leaving him a complete corpse but it seems that you guys don't want that."

Hearing this Elders were scared to death but still didn't move from their position but such resistance was futile against an unstoppable force and one by one all of them fell to the ground.

"We can talk without any hinderance in your last moments master." said Yang Bai but sect master did remained silent.

"It seems you have decided to leave this world in silence so I will respect that wish of yours but i must thank you one last because without you locking me inside the dragon ravine I would ha---"

His sentence was cut short as a ray invisible to the naked eyes passed through the left side of his chest.
