If There Is Next Time

Elycia Vizzar met the gaze of the Crown Prince who was looking up at her all the while. She was still struggling to get through that calm eyes to know what was beneath them. Finally, she sat down and picked out one book from the table. Then she started reading it aloud to him.

She knew that he never took his gaze off her the whole time and against all her resolution, she realized how much she had missed him. She rarely saw him since she was assigned to work in the royal library. Though she knew that it was for the better, there were many things which she couldn't control, like her feelings.

Not to mention that her purpose was never pure from the start. She couldn't stop wondering what would happen if the Crown Prince were to find it out.

No man would forgive a woman who approached him with a motive, especially when the man was someone as powerful as the Crown Prince.
